Dream Cancel KOFXIII Steam Battle #3 - 3/1/2014
« on: February 18, 2014, 01:54:41 AM »

WHAT: KOFXIII Steam Edition, First to 10 games series session 3
WHEN: Saturday, March 1st, 2014 @ 1pm Pacific/3pm Central/4pm Eastern.
WHERE: Games will be played on Steam and we will meet up at the Dream Cancel chatango room http://dreamcancel.chatango.com/
WHO: All steam players from anywhere in the world are welcomed
HOW: All players signed up will play each other first to either 3, 5, 7 or 10 games, matches and scores will be taken

1.) Wanna play??? Post to sign up, add your steam ID link, your list of characters you use, and your area. It will be added in this post. Before the session date, check to make sure your steam client works well and you can connect to most players on Steam. Make sure your ports are correctly forwarded to the private IP you are using Steam on.

(signing up isn't required to join, but random members who do sign-up will be mailed DREAM CANCEL STICKERS)

2.) On the day of the session, please sign in (sign-up if you're new) into the Dream Cancel chat room at http://dreamcancel.chatango.com/ a half hour before the session starts.

3.) All players in attendance will play each other in a first to 10 wins set. Everyone will play at the same time. After you have finished playing with one person, move on to the next available player and so on (in the chat say "FREE" when you are available). When you are playing, please try to keep track of your score either through chat reminders or tally marks on pen and paper. Report your final score in the dreamcancel chat room.

First to 10 games is optional, you can choose to play first to 3, 5, 7 or 10. The two players must agree on how many games they would like to play. You can pick and choose to play as many people as you want, and you can also rematch with previous opponents too.

If you're playing someone you've never faced before, be sure to run a test match to make sure both of your connections feel playable to each other. If they don't, you can opt out and face another person with a better connection.

While you are playing in the session make sure your connection is free and isn't being used to stream video or upload or download files. Also make sure that your connection isn't being used or shared by anyone else on your network.

4.) After the session, this thread will be deleted and a new thread for the next upcoming session. There will be a session results thread which features scores.
