They spend most of the time just testing stuff out with various characters so you can see a lot of neat stuff happen.

At 3:48 KOD has a low starting combo. That's quite funny, KOD with mix ups lol.. Its dB, dA, into that double claw swipe. He might be slow but he's got decent tools to open you up.

Daimon's OTG super looks cool. I hope you can Climax Cancel with it.

Anyone else think that Nakoruru's legs bend weird? It's like she has rickets or something.

Good damage to boot on Daimon's OTG super... I hope it is climax cancellable, It would be four bars and well worth a simple jump C+D.

Wonder if Goro could do a wall splat into a run, when they crumple to the floor do the OTG super.

Nakoruru always did have a funny torso to thigh leg animation. Its like she's been sawed in half and stuck back together.

I hope XIV Ralf is good. At least he seems to have more own identity than ever. I've wanted to like Ralf, but something's always missing or couldn't get hang of him.

Ralf is going to be quite technical in XIV, he has two to three whiff cancel fakeouts that could really confuse opponents lol

Does Just Defend do anything other than gives you nice sparkly effect when you pull it off? Haven't paid that much attention. Will they do something similar to Garou or will they drop the mechanic eventually?

Just defence builds you more meter.

If someone keeps throwing projectiles at you and you keep just defending them, you can build 2 bars to there 1. So it should prevent projectile spamming at the least.

Ralf has a straight punch special. What could it be used for. I hope it absorbs or deflects projectiles. Ralf has gotten the special treatment this year.

Ralf's new punch move very likely has guard point on start up.

The SDM version of Ralf's Bareback Vulcan looks so boss in XIV.

In XIV it:

- builds more power meter than blocking
- reduces guard gauge depletion

Most people who have played the game seem to think that it is a nice and fresh way to implement the mechanic.

Huh, that sounds smart. Not that projectile spamming has been huge problem in SNK games in general (in my opinion), but sounds like good addition to arsenal of tools you can use.

So I guess team trailers have moved to Thursdays/Fridays, then.

Story Mode screenshot is a nice change of pace. Sakurai understood the importance of giving images of other things beside gameplay when making Smash 4 and apparently SNK understands this too.
