He's so much improved from his 2002 counterpart which feels watered down. They gave him some really cheap and useful moves in UM. Thank goodness. Anyone know of any good or bad matchups he has?

Out of curiosity, what changed about K' from OG to UM Tougeki aside from gaining the new follow-ups to qcf+P?  His change in the tier lists is like the reverse of Vanessa's (and I know she had her recovery times on a lot of stuff worsened by like 8-10 frames, lost the ability to cancel cr.D, and lost freecanceling out of hcf+P), so I'd imagine K' gained something more than a couple of moves that aren't used often.

Basically 4-5x more priority on his normal and specials, as well as gaining the NeoWave corner combo into 2002 UM ([Dp+C xx teleport x n)

Some characters in the game like May Lee simply have a hard as hell time vs. K' because his cr.b, normals and other specials have sooo much priority. So to fight K' you have to either be really good at reading and hope they are a cookie cutter K', or have someone that can fight him or keep him out so it really depends on:

1. How the K' is playing
2. Who you are using against him and how you are using that character.

On paper XYZ vs. K' may be a mismatch IN CERTAIN REGIONS, but again as I am finding out like in Tier Lists in other countries, it may not be a mismatch or as bad a matchup in other countries because people have found ways around that particular problem...

Okay, so it's not just my imagination that I poked out by K' a lot more in UM than I remember happening in the older games *laughs* .  Thanks for the explanation.

Oh no he has way more priority than in 2002 UM and that makes all the difference in the world. It's like Gato from 2003 to XI, Gato gets more moves/mixups, and WAYYYYYY more priority than 2003 to XI..
