I'm not much for blazblues design but it is cool to read about passionate game designers. It is especially cool to read that they use 2d, not because of fan request or something like that, but simply for the esthetics.

Haha, probably! Though im surprised that they leave 13 out, regardles of  12s impopularity. As a 2d fighting game kof13 is a piece of art, way better than blazblues monotone colour designs on characters. Think of old cartoons where you can see what objects are going to move because objects about to be animated are coloured with brighter colours. That is how blazblue looks, snkp has done a way better colouring job. Though i should add that blazblue is still very well done and i do not intend to rip on it.

When I compare Guilty Gear XX Accent Core to BlazBlue, I find GG looks much better and is more detailed. I still think the current KOF sprites to be the best made of all sprites.

That article was totally unfair. Do not talk about XIII when you are talking about next gen fightining games in 2D... is suspicious. In fact, I think this article is a fake. I think is has been paid by Arc Systems to promote BB. This kind of promotion is very frequent, so it wouldn't be rare.

Kinda agree. At least modern KOF's are more 2D than Blazblue.
