Those vids are not made to be impressive, but practical for a real combat.

I'm really liking this combo series and think they'll be really good for newer players.

But there are some combos that I would have liked to see included. For Kyo, his corner air Orochinagi -> fireball -> running grab combo gets used in matches a lot. For Goro, his EX throw into corner, followed by three multiple df+Cs is one of his better combos. And for Benimaru, the above-mentioned air Raijinken HD combos.

These are just nitpicks, of course.

wow, that's exactly what i was thinking, lol.

also with beni, sometimes it seemed like he was not aiming his NM right when he could have gotten more hits out of it.

im actually liking his practical combos, its just that he's missing a few very important ones like rex mentioned. i would have loved to see the damage for goros EX corner combo.

jump  ;d, standind ;c, ;df ;c, ;fd ;df ;dn ;db ;bk ;fd ;a ;c, ;df ;c, ;df ;c, ;df ;c, ;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd ;a ;c.
In the end, there can only be XIII.

Terry's combos look very cool (like the fireball into busterwolf into neomax).

Here's hoping they do Kensou soon.

i find most of these vids very nice for beginners to get a grasp at the system. its a shame though that the combos dont go for more variety during some instances, like goro not doing the  ;df ;c x3 and beni not using his air rajinkens ;c and kyo not comboing into his earial orochinagi. in this vid in the last or one of the last combos he hit the opponent very close to the corner with the NM, he could have juggled on with a burning knuckle and rising tackle afterwards.

also comboing from normals into NM doesnt require going into HD mode.

is that dark geese im hearing in the background at those rev tourney vids?

also comboing from normals into NM doesnt require going into HD mode.

If you are keeping things basic then you might as well include a few extra normals via HD if you are going to blow the entire bar on a neomax anyway.

i wonder, doesnt scaling kick in as soon as you go into hd mode? all those light will probably make you NM less damaging. either go for a full combo, or just do the most basic damaging one. i wonder what the difference in damage would be between going straight to NM or doing 2 normals atytack before it after you go  into HD mode.

Kane: Is that you in part 7? Is so, fucking wow.  :) Too impressive for words. Profanity and smilie faces will have to suffice.

EDIT: Listening to the beginning again, and they do mention your name. It was a bit hard to make out at first.

It starts off with a Yu-Yu-Hakusho clip! ;) The first fight had some.. eh moments, but there's some nice sights of inspirations from the half of this I've watched so far...

And yeah Kane, kudos on the Chin stylin'! All that irresponsible drinkin' and team-bustin'... Chin was quite a homewrecker in those matches! :)
