One of my fav things of KoF in recent years, just in general, is comboing D. Hienshipukyaku into Zanretsuken. So SNKP goes and makes Takuma look like a min tank version of Grappler Baki's Doppo (a show I rather enjoyed), and then makes ZRK EX an anywhere juggle, plus makes the normal one shift into a position-resetting command grab through drive cancel.

It's like they took all my woes with Makoto's Karakusa in SSFIV, and SNK-ified it. "Wanna combo into it? Check!" "Give it decent range? Check!" "Give it even more functionality, by allowing you to shift sides? Check!" Just so good ^_^

I'm sure we all know by now that those combos in the last few pages are not from the arcade.   Without passing judgment, one thing for sure is there's a lot more KOF XIII traffic everywhere on the net in the last 2 weeks than there has been in the last 4 months.  At least it shows that people want to play this game bad.  Think of it this way, it could be worse, imagine after the leak there's no increase in XIII activity/discussion--SNKP would be royally screwed then.

That Chin combo requires him to drink twice.   Drink combos are kinda arbitrary unless they only use it once to allow him to do the extra DM, otherwise why stop at two when you can do five?

Strong Vice and King Play (suspect Bala is playing!) A very nice King Reset strat, plus great Vice Meter-building / space control play.

Good Benimaru play, showing some nice combos, plus a solid HD mode guard break combo.

Fantastic Iori pressure here. Quick moving on-the-fly mixups, good use of HD, and using that command normal for all it's worth.
Video 25: Some nice Joe action, especially in the first match.
Chin domination, we see good variety of drive cancel combos, plus good use of low ducking to cause aerial moves to whiff on the TINY hitbox. On the other side, Ralf cancels Vulcan into Galactica PHANTOM a few times, a combo we don't see to often (as everyone else goes for DC gut punch into Bareback Vulcan.)

Both players show off some very nice reset situations, with Shen and Elisabeth, especially towards the final rounds. Also, most rounds with Kim involve great roll / recovery roll countering. Maybe not a character standout video, but a good one for showing the unique situations of KoF gameplay.

also wow, if chins combo does that much damage offa 2 drinks, 5 drinks must be crazy.

Part 39 was also real clutch; it's the match that Raul takes out Romance--who was the only favored player who didn't make the top 4.

Lmfao! Look at that Ebony Tears corner juggle. I have to agree with the comments though. She seems easy on paper but actually requires a bit of practice to use.

Great tutorial for those who will main Mature, like me. She really looks difficult to control at combos, they look very fast and it seems easy to lose control and miss them. but still, great video and great character :)

Nice combos for start playing the game. They remember a lot to those SNKP released for each character showing all MAXCancels. Some of them are really simple, but a good starter point.
And it's a nice video to see, and to atract those who still don't know the game.

How is it that good exactly? The K' player didn't mash 2B to duck under projectiles, etc.
