raiden is indeed strong, or better, that combo is strong. I still think that once u miss it (and ur opponent is not dumb) u'r dead.

Nice Mai RyuEnbu>HSB combos at Semi final 1 vid against K', but Takuma was harder. About Raiden... yeah, he needs a fix... U_U

i know but there is always chance that u miss it.. and u can see in all videos that when a player (who rely only on that) the combo, he takes so much damage from the other player..

I remember doing that RyuEnbu>HSB combo a few days ago at AI before, I'm sure its more deadly in the corner.

To be fair, the 2nd place guy should have busted out an Iori HD combo and used all three of his stocks when he had the chance because you HAVE TO take into account that you're playing the fat bastard and that he can take you out in the blink of an eye.  Instead of playing against Mature with no meter he just died with a bunch...

I think the problem is that not only does it take a ridiculous amount of life, it also has no start up animation at all. And let's also put in the fact that it is an automatic guard crush even with a full GC meter. When you factor that in, you can see why someone would just want to stand around and spam it whenever they can.

And even if they miss the attack, you have to be quick to get to Raiden because the move sends him across the screen it seems.

I think it only does like 70%(?) of your guardcrush meter.  Still a lot lol.
