I live in Columbus, though I'll be out of town until January or so.

Guess I should do my part for the Columbus crew:

Hey there guys, for anyone from the Columbus area, we have a weekly game night over at Momo's near Olentangy River Road and Ackerman Drive, the former home of Season's Beatings. Basically, Wednesday nights, starting from around 5:30 and going to midnight, and what we have there is pretty much up to what people bring. I can say as of late, we've had a good following for KOF XIII in particular, then UMvC3 after that, though a couple of others are also available for AE2012, and there's occasionally a Melee/Brawl setup for those into that too. Kid_Miracle, if you've got time when you get back you should definitely check it out.

Also GenesisDC, I've been meaning to go to a Cleveland event one of these times, Arcade Legacy kind of has a stranglehold over us, haha. Maybe I'll look into the 8th tournament if I've got time.

I'll definitely check it out. I've known about it but my work schedule was in the way. I've got a ps3 stick will that work? Or are the system set ups normally 360?

We've usually got a good amount of both systems, though it never hurts to bring a copy of the game and/or a setup of your own. Like I said, it all depends on what people actually bring in. I usually bring a 360 with KOF XIII and some other games.

Far as TVs go, they're all stored at Momo's, and there are usually at least 5 sitting around for setups.

Wow, I love Momo's. If you're having games tomorrow I can likely make it down for KOF sometime since I don't do much during the week anyway.

Yeah, good shit from you guys as well. I'm actually surprised you guys didn't steal top 8 from us lol, I guess I'm just so used to beating people up here (with Kula) that I underestimated Cleveland as a whole. It's understandable if you guys can't make it up more since the Gods of Lake Erie love punishing this area.

Looks like a while since we've had an update here, but figured I'd do my part to support Ohio KOF. Lots of potential events ahead to level up our games:

1) Arcade Legacy Ranbat Season - Cincinnati, OH

New Arcade Legacy ranbat season coming up, with KOF XIII being a main game for the first time. Columbus and Cincinnati have some strong KOF players so definitely a good opportunity to level up when you have a free Saturday, and we have a lot of fun down there. Runs roughly once every 3-4 weeks for 5 weeks.

2) MLG Winter Championships at Columbus - March 23-25

MLG comes to Columbus and surprisingly brings with it KOF XIII! A lot of East Coast major names, as well as great players like Juicebox Abel, are planning to come so even if you don't plan on entering (i.e. me), there's a great chance to get in on casuals with great US players.

3) PowerUp 2012 - Cincinnati, OH - April 13-15

PowerUp's 3rd annual tournament at Arcade Legacy and an EVO tournament season event, so expect the best here as well.

I haven't decided if I'm going to spectate Friday yet, but I would love to get in casuals with you guys on Friday wherever you end up deciding to do them.

Since MLG weekend; we managed to have Xian, Skye, Mr. KoF, and most of the South Cali crew over at Todd's house for casuals that saturday. Super nice guys they all were, but anyways. I'm surprised I don't see more activity in the Ohio thread.. Columbus has plenty of KoF XIII players, as well as Cleveland I'd assume. I know you guys have Thursday nights up there, but why not drop by a Weds to come see us some time? It'll be fun~

I wish more of you played 98 or older KoF games.

I would, except that Billy sucks in KoF 98.

I guess I could play my team of Shingo / Billy / Yamazaki anyways though. =3=  Oh yeah, Raiden is a cool character, you guys should play him
