um, yamazaki has always had this many moves in kof.

I'm not saying that he hasn't. I'm just saying that if you want him to be in XIII, he can't have all those moves. Some cuts will have to be made. It's only fair since all characters in this game have skimpy movelists.

If I may... I'd say:

- Geese Howard (to have Geese is a must in console versions and he is too great to not be in next gen KOF)
- Adelheid Bernstein (after his presence in 2003 and XI and having his sister announcing KOFXIII is just  wrong that he wasn't in the game from the arcade release)

btw where the hell Ron and the other guys are gone?

- Krizalid (I know he is a boss character but he is too cool to not be bringed back as a normal playable character, I would love to see him in a sort of NESTS returns Team, maybe with Nameless, in a future chapter of the game)

I was referring to KOF'96, he was there and it wasn't a dream match (there was even BIG) and KOF storyline differs from FF if I remember correctly, because so we can use AOF chars that should be much more older. I believe that he can be put in either case as a console character for KOF XIII as they have already done a lot of times a not only in dream matches (as they have made in KOFXI).

He actually died at the end of Fatal Fury Special, so 96 wasn't too unbelievable that he was there. In later versions they put him as Nightmare Geese, who was a ghost of Geese himself. Most of those games were dream matches anyways.

KOFXI was a bonus character featured as a sort of dream-match thing, like UM versions. There's no reason Tung / Big / Robert would be there. They just used characters from NGBC as a PS2 exclusive.

FF timeline: Geese died at the end of Real Bout Fatal Fury. This is referenced in Real Bout 2 and MOTW.

KOF timeline: Geese never died. He appears in the story for KOF 2003. He's the one who organizes Billy, Yamazaki and Gato into a team.

In my opinion, he shouldn't be included as a simple extra. This is goddamn Geese Howard. The ORIGINAL SNK boss. He needs to return to the series in style, as a headlining-villain. It just feels wrong to have him as a normal character (IMO).
