so i been fuckin around with arcade mode and missions all day today...i think i finally decided on a team

athena/kim/kensou in that order

i honestly dont know if thats the best choice...but the wiki is somewhat limited with info on my two guys, and its clear that athena doesnt need meter too much so she seems to do very well on point...better than robert and joe were doing for me at least.
so yeah...thats what im working with now...although i do love robert...and joe aint bad either...lol fuck, i just might change my team once i sober up tomorrow...
any suggestions would be awesome...if not, im just looking forward to trying this team out at GGA.

idk i like kensou first, and athena second. I don't know dick about kim. Kensuo builds crazy meter, and while athena doesn't need it to play her game (which isn't bad for a first spot) she has a lot of tools that can get her a lot of damage if she gets that hit with meter.

Kensou Athena Kim is definitely the most natural order I'd have them in. Kensou is a great point character with tons of hard knockdowns and mixups. And he has a great fireball game to keep less mobile point characters (Clark, Ralf, Ryo) out.

Kim is an interesting character that relies heavily on hit confirm since a lot of his tools are unsafe. He has an amazing set of normals and abusing their natural abilities (For instance, far ;d is low invulnerable in startup frames and his  ;dn ;d is amazing anti air against horizontal jump ins.)

I'll be at GGA and will definitely help out whoever asks. KoF is too good.

cool, thanks for the insight fellas.
kim on anchor does sound intriguing...definitely a good idea to have him loaded up with as many of those ex kicks as possible...and as far as kensou on anchor...he was just the first character that i learned an HD combo with, other than that i had no real reason to put him in that spot. but ill definitely try out different orders and different teams tonight...im kinda bummed i decided against robert, definitely wanna see whats good with him still. FIX YO VEST ROBERT, you suave mother fucker you

see you at GGA, ill be the chubby pothead in the bulls hat that gave medina a ride. lets get some rounds in! feel free to take it easy on me haha

Um... I end up being at gga around 8, then a random KOF tournament happened. 6 players entered, round robin, two groups. Top 4 on stream. My commentary is ass. Played EX Iori, K', Kyo/Kim. Fun times.

Bzerk, you goin to Nickel City, tomorrow?

na nickel city is probably something I won't be able to make to often on saturdays, maybe every once in a while.    What were the quick results from the round robin?

i was doing well holding my own in casuals...but i didnt play anybody in the top 3 in casuals haha so i guess that explains it  :(

also, just a minor thing that im sure nobody really cares too much about but thought id mention...percio's 2nd character was vice...and i decided against athena last minute and went with joe in the brackets.

hopefully im more comfortable with athena next week...i used her in casuals earlier in the night, but i just wasnt able to get anything done with her so i tried to lame it out with joe instead...frustrating.

ggs everybody!
