It's cool, we got a few cats playing weekly at gamestore, and we had a tournament in January that drew around 8 or 9 cats. Because of that number, we didn't get another tournament since, but we might get another one this month.

It seems lot of the fighting game players are still stuck on SFxT, MvC3 and SSFIV, which gives KOF 3rd rated game feel, and it's still kinda difficult to get everyone that plays to get together all at once, but hopefully if we keep playing, we can improve.

We had a bit more unity when we were all playing 98UM and 2002UM back in 2010, so things are kinda shaky now, but I'm trying my best to bring people together.

It was good seeing Konkrete and yourself James at Power Up, I had a lot of fun. I'm going admit, I had more fun playing casuals on Friday than the actual tournament (salty) but overall I'm glad I went.

Welcome to DC-Chicago, Efo!

I think here is an online matchmaking thread somewhere in this forum. Some of the Chicago players usually meetup on Fridays and/or Saturdays at each other's places. We usually meetup before we go to Nickel City on Saturdays.

On Saturdays, it's usually at Konkrete's place.

On Fridays, it's usually at Joe's place. Ryokoalways on SRK.

Occasionally we'll have gatherings at Suiname's place on Fridays or Joe's place on Saturdays.
