eh, i just got all showered up then plopped on my bed for 30 mins straight.

i think im too lazy to drive all the way up there just to drink by myself. nobody that plays kof is gunna drink with me, and nobody that ever wants to drink ever plays kof with me. booooooring.

i wish more arcade folk cared about these events. see you cool cats tomorrow.

Got 3rd in Persona by using one button. ANIME GAMES! GGs to everyone I played at Diversey Bowl. Efo and Souf were sleeping.

Yeah, I used Chie's ;a ;a ;a ;a ;a most of the time. J-Money taught me some stuff after I got bodied by him. Fatal counters are probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a fighting game. Anime games are weird. Bursts, exclamation points, all-out attacks, cinematic instant kills, counter hits on throws WTF.

you mean counters from the all out attack?  I could see why you don't like that, but Fatal counters are just counter-hits which change the amount of hitstun you're in allowing for combos that don't work normally, most games have them, including our beloved KOF.

Yeah, but why have counter hits... And then fatal counter hits.

Not counters from all out attacks. when you press a button right before you get thrown (;c + ;d) it's a counter hit.

Well yeah counter hits = more hit stun/juggle anywhere is in every 2d fighting game.

Not sure.  I know counter hit adds the 2 frames of extra hit stun for just that attack, while fatal counter hit adds it for the whole combo.  Not sure why you need both, I guess they wanted the special combo from the all out attack business.

thats pretty cool about fatal counters being the only way to get it for the whole combo...arcana heart gave you additional damage and stun for an entire combo if it started with a counter...any counter. if you didnt have a burst and had less than half your life lol just get ready for the next round, cause even the most basic counter combo would kill you easily.

but yeah...ggs at gga today.

i wouldve gone to the bowling alley, but its not really an environment to learn anything or level up...i just go there for fun...if there wasnt gunna be anybody to bullshit and drink with, meh fuck it. i wound up partying like 3 blocks away from there anyway haha shouldve stopped in to say hi, but i was too drunk to care.
again, i wish more arcade folk hit those things up...i dont get why none of the IPG guys ever come to the arcades and guys from the arcade never go to the bowling alley. SCENE SEGREGATION! only a small few of us go both ways  ;)

shee I got too tired to drive to GGA last night so I just did some grinding at home.  Trying out new anchors in KOF is fun, need practice against live comp though.  Anyone interested in getting a few matches in the afternoon on Saturday before the tournament?
