==Introduction==
Fatal Fury Special was introduced in 1993 by SNK and was regarded as one of the most popular video games of it's time. Just like other fighting games this one revolves around one-on-one combat but because of the genre's quickly expanding popularity at the time this game needed something special, with such combat mechanics as Plane Shifting along with attack and roll, Taunting, Crouch Walking, Defensive Attacks, all new Super Special moves called DM's, and a Playable roster of 16 characters, this game quickly became a fan favorite and possibly one of the best entries throughtout the entire Fatal Fury Series.
