Just like Terry, Mary has to input an command normal to anti air, this inehrently makes it worse to react with but can help during crossups as youll get 3d if you were holding 1 pre crossup.

Follow up to heavy DP, seems to trade damage for less knockdown time. The follow up seems to have a good amount of time to set up oki so for the most part it seems like you will always use this after dp.

Instead of having a follow up upon successful catch, mary simplit will not be hit and can follow up with a combo, if a move has low lag however it can bait the counter and punish and be able to punish mary during her end lag. Also, if a move has high active frames it can counter hit mary after her active frames end.
