I'm going to move this topic to the Pro Gear section.

You've been using pad this whole time? Impressive.

I concur with Xxenace on the SF4 pad (heard good things about it), or another MS pad.

Just cause I never get tired of saying it:

"I don't always use pads.... but when I do..... it's a Sega Saturn Pad. Keep gaming my friends."
Say it with me now: "Variable input lag BAAAAAAD!!!"

I started using the D-pad in my SF2 & MK days as a 5 year Kid, now 24 i Can't stop using the d-pad now I was using the afterglow controller because the D-pad is better in normal Xbox controller.

If you want to stick to pads, then I suggest trying to get a fightpad. There are a lot of ones out ther elike the SF4/Brawl pad. Capcom even released a new version of it that is 15% smaller so you may want to look at that.

I keep hearing nothing but good things about the Hori fighting Commander Pro so you may want to look into that one aswell.

Or if you want to stay with something similar, just get yourslef another Xbox pad. Although I suggest getting the one with the transformable dpad.

I know several people who just use the dualshock controllers, and seem to do really well. I used one up until I got a stick, and I couldn't really get halfcircles down on them, so idk... There's a monthly BB tournament in TN, and there was at least one guy who seemed to do well with this old school controller and a converter:

Get the Hori fighting Commander 3. Avoid the pro version because the D-pad will keep slipping out of place.
Team: Billy, Clark, Hwa.

I thought I was the only one having that problem

I don't have a stick, so I've had to get by playing any and all KoF's using Sony pads, from PS1 to PS3.

My GF  got me a  WWE All Stars Mad Catz Brawl Pad, it the same as the Street Fighter IV Fight Pads, works great in kof xiii =D HD combos are easier do to.

Until it breaks.  Those things are good while they work but break quickly.  I broke EIGHT fightpads.
