Hey guys I've been lurking since around the time XI came out. Played KoF casually off and on, now want to get good. I have all the steam KoFs but am focusing on 2002um. There are about 6 local players where I live. FYI: I'm at a casual level, working on learning fundamentals unique to KoF.

Officially welcome to the community T-Rev.

Good to hear you've got some local and online players to play with to get better. Hopefully you can meet more players here on DC. If you can keep at learning KoF's fundamentals on a daily basis, you'll probably have it down before you know it. For 02UM, you can check out our wiki for the game to see if there's any helpful info there.

Yeah we usually play there's about I'd say 25 of us, and of those 25 there's about 10-12 that play kof casually now, we mainly played anime but now that it's on steam everyone's picking up 2k2um.

Where do you live?

I tried searching for your name but I don't know which T-Rev you are, lol.

^Thanks, not that familiar with steam yet. What I don't get is why a lot of players love kof xi but didn't keep up with kof in my area. Also I live in the McAllen area by the TX border

I'm guessing the time between KoF XI and the next was so long a gap that another game caught their grasp

Sometimes all they need is another taste in the right setting and they remember how fun it is.

I've added you to my Steam friends list. We can get some games in sometime. I prefer 13, but I'll play any of them. Just don't expect me to be any good at 98 or 2k2.
