It'll be 3v3 teams. Character lock; each player plays one character. Kind of like an actual KOF format. Whether its single elimination or double elimination depends on player interest and time.

I should be wondering around the Sheraton sometime later tonight if anyone wants to get a hold of me or get some games in.

Are you and jt4 going to be running Garou again? I won't make it there early for the MK9 and KOF13 tournaments but I'm sure I can make the Garou side tourney.

Not sure yet. I ended up not doing Garou at NEC due to me being absolutely DEAD after running KOF. At the very least, I'll play some casuals with you if you make it out.

So two quick things to mention:

1) Tournament this sunday at UP (see BiGGDaddyCane's post above this). I'm still uncertain if I'll be able to make this (I'll certainly try to). However, that doesn't mean anyone else reading this shouldn't go. Support our local scene however you can!

2) My monthly session is coming up next Friday night (1/20). There'll be Garou and KOF as always along with anything else anyone wants to play/bring. Hit me up for details if you want to come by!

Hubbs' holds a session twice a month (2nd and 4th mondays barring holidays), while I do a monthly thing on the 3rd Friday of each month.

As for Apex, I only caught little pieces here and there. One of the only amusing parts of it for me was on Friday when Jaxel was doodling on stream during some downtime. That pikachu was priceless.

hey guys just picked up the game. I have dabbled in kof in the past (99,00,01,XI) but I'm pretty sure it means nothing now but I have liked this series and I'm willing to try again with all the hype going around for the new one.
