Those announcements are pretty sick!
I mean recruiting gods Dakou and Xiouhai is pretty awesome.
CCL the Belgian representative and the 12 year old French kid Kusanagi are very nice additions to the team indeed.

Sure is :)
I just noticed the post # and chuckled

I'm pretty sure they're AST's.

Also your post was reply 1337, lol

Netcode, Netcode... for me, it's a non-factor on purchase. I've wanted to play THIS game long enough, I'm getting it regardless. That's the most important factor to purchase.

THIS.

I will eventually try to find people to play with. In Brussels there are some top players who will obviously play the game regardless.

Yesterday i bought a Hori V3 stick because i couldn't resist that kind of a bargain. 55 euros incl. shipping.
What made me buy it is the fact that it's nice and slim, kinda like the Namco stick.
I can fit it in my backpack along with plenty of other stuff unlike that big ass hrap.

I'll eventually try the game with stick and pad though.

First thing i will do is go into practice mode to get a feel of the game since i haven't touched it yet.
Try out different characters and mess around with combo's in challenge mode.

is there a tourney in Belgium?

Nah, those players just happen to live in Brussels. My guess is that the XIII tourrneys will be held in France.

Prof Just posted this at MMC:

Quick news for the hardcore KOF fans: looks like the community will be getting its first two KOF-dedicated semiprofessional players.

Dune and Ogosho announced today that they're currently going through paperworks for contract with elive. They won't get paid a salary or anything, but they'll have their travel and accomodation fees paid in place for playing as an elive member. The contract apparently has a very weak bind so there's nothing mandatory, and they can continue to stream on nico as they used to.

It seems also that this may be one of the first steps towards advertizing elive in Japan, as the service is reportedly slated to launch services soon.

Thier first travel as elive players will be domestic at Duelling in Kyoto if the paperworks make it on time. They aren't planning to make any trips overseas any time soon, at least during the current year. Dune apparently doesn't like planes. They should be going to Evo next year (if 13 is there of course).

I wonder if elive would sponsor any US players? Either way, this is pretty nice news to hear. One step towards KoF XIII at Evo, is having people who want to play it, able to get there...

So these are the big names Frionel mentioned in the Wakeup SRK podcast, awesome job!
Their KOF team is already very strong. If i up my XIII game i will try to contact CCL and Kenpachi (who're also in Elive) for some games since Brussels is only 45 mins away.

@ Sibarraz

Elive has Maroccan players as well.

This store is usually on point, especially when it comes to fighting games.
It says the 15th though.

brb cancelling my pre order

That's pretty lame.

Anyways, i'm a bit disappointed unless Mr.Karate gets a different moveset, stance and whatnot it's ok i guess.

If this game does well then we'll see the wish list of characters in XIV soon enough, but for that to happen we need a solid netcode first.

I'm just glad this game is polished, that's all.

I'm really not concerned about the netcode. I think those guys know what their market demands.

My apologies. I was not my intention to do so. Again i apologize.

I will delete/modify any posts because i respect Cris as an exceptional player in various games.

Yeah i've been lurking in the srk naruto thread and the foolish theories have finally been proven. The dude was so convinced of his own fallacies that it started to look stupid. So kudos to Kishi for providing me with solid evidence.

As for who passed away, Alex and Jos their father.

I wonder if i get the same extra's at my local pre-order.
