dope, dope, dope game. personally its my favorite ff game of all time (yeah, better than motw). again its not perfect, the game got 1 big flaw. its too defensive, you got hpower cancels, AB's, cant thick throw. aside from this its a great game. all of this would have been solved if the game had thickthrowing. too bad snk didnt see this problem.

game is great, on par with ssf2t imo. the only thing that isnt soo hot about this game is what sets it appart. the planeshifts.

couple things.

first the infinites: jae, hoku, feeman and jenet. first of jenets, her air dive infinite. doesnt the opponent get too low after a while, so meaning its not a true infinite? and isnt dong hwan able to infinite? ive seen somebody do the same infinite jae did killing somebody. but the opponent didnt have full health so it might push him back too far back. dont know fr sure (ooh boy, been years since ive played this game).

last thing id like to note. i remember it wasnt possible to combo on after low jumps like in kof. you could use a super, or even a special (dont remember, super is correct though). but you couldnt continue comboing with normals after a low jump in connecting (which i always found fucked up in this game).

las thing id like to add. i dont know what i miss more. not having a motw2 or rb3. damn.

the damage differences make ex useless against power or speed. not to mention your super bars fills super slowly. ex is nice for fighting against ex. otherwise its an uphill battle vs power or speed. you wont see anybody with this mode in a tourney. and otherwise they wont be winning.

i was wondering something. if you jump in and attack with ryo, do a standing or crouching HP, if you perform his HP (C) with B+C, would ryo do his dp in hd mode? if so canceling to his HCB+D right afterwards could easily  be used to creat a good juggle state. anybody?

wow man looking at that vid makes me pretty sure the combo i said should be possible.


jump in C -> cr. C -> EX giant bomb -> lvl 4 dropkick -> st. A -> lvl 4 dropkick -> EX giant bomb -> giant bomb   -> max cancel into neo max.

jump in C -> cr. C -> lvl 4 dropkick -> st. A -> lvl 4 dropkick -> EX giant bomb -> combo into normal gaintbomb and go to nm or keep on comboing without nm, but with use of drive cancels and ex moves.

he has those drop kicks charged hes a real menace if he gets a hit in. especially a crouching C.

his firebal that doesnt go forward has autoguard. not sure as ive not played the game myself and cant remember it from any vid. also with 3 bars and full hd he can nm you. and his 1 bar ranbu actually seems like a good get of me move, and good anti air. again, havent played it. just from looking at vids.

wow man it took 15 minutes to get through all the 2k2 um characters. also max needs to get damaged while in gp, its ridiculous for him not to take any damage. back in the days he did, same for ralph during galactica phantom.

could a mod put this on the first page in the first post. it would be a lot easier if everybody knew where to find this to watch nico vids. thanx.

edit: some bugs are probably only with and against special oufit characters (zoro andy, mr karate), while others are even with normal characters like goro. matures infinite isnt really a bug but it def needs to be changed. same for all the other real bugs.

Sorry dude but I think you are the noob here. Invincible DPs have been in KoF forever, even 2k2 the game you claim that they aren't. You say you wanna talk strategy but you don't even understand basic fighting game concepts... You've got some serious learning to do before you spout off that kind of attitude.

Whatever you say, you sure showed me. I better watch out or the KOF nazi's will appear and tell me I'm a newb. I sure do have a lot of learning to do. You mean if I study long and hard and read these forums all the time, I can be just like you? Man, I sure better get to practicing.

What part of move on did you fail to understand? I'm not continuing this. If you want to, be my guest. I'll let you think that you won an argument on the internet if that means some constructive conversation will be allowed to flourish.

ill give you 1 tip, play the game. most people that learned the game did so before the forums existed, play and learn. back then we didnt have anybody to tell us how to play sf2 or ss or kof, play and learn. i understand abusive shit and not liking it, but invincible dp's aint even close to being something like that.
