Meet & Greet / Eager Australian player here. I wish to better my game.

Hey, first post here on the forums or in fact in any fighting game forum. Quite a shame really as I was a avid player of Tekken 3 on the PS1 when I was young and Killer Instinct on SNES. However being a kid, I might learn a bit but being a dumb kid you just button mash, although that was fun and all I never got that 'good'. Back in those times it was just merely versing siblings and friends because there was no global play yet.
I've played some MK, got Deadly Alliance on the Xbox and that was fun. Didn't invest too much time on it though.
Luckily KoFXIII got me back into fighters after I played the demo (for a total of 18 hours) by myself and with friends I was definitely hooked. Had to eBay it since I could not find it in stores and I've done some research on how to play mostly using videos and the Shoryuken Wiki but I needed a feedback medium and why no better place than a forum, so that's why I'm here. Hi!
Hopefully I don't appear to be too much of a noob, I've done my homework. Took me a while since it was all completely new to me such as motions, button notations and learning the 'Fighting Games Dictionary of Terms', but I think I know my stuff.
Also can I ask if there are any videos such as the SoCal Tournament ones?

I really like the ones with commentary, gameplay itself is interesting but listening to the banter of the commentators of the player's performance and the crowd makes it much more engaging.
