I should be clearer: think of the top 8 / 16 / 32 players in no particular order and list them out. You don't have to be thorough. You can just list 8. You can list 16. Maybe just list a number in between! But at least give me your 8

Your reasoning is helpful too, but in reality I want to hear what the community in general thinks.

Hello everyone!

I'm Andres and I'm here to let you know that I'm the Organizer for KOF XIII this year at Evolution 2014. A lot of you will remember that I took ownership of KOF XIII last year in 2013 at EVO, and we finished on time and had a great time.

I'm here to ask for your help! I want to know who you think the top seeds should be! We did not have a Road to Evo 2014 this year like we did in the last year, so I figured that I'd peek my head in to see what you all thought. There are a lot of events and, to be frank, KOF XIII is such a global game that there are people from all over the world that we may miss that should rightfully be seeded for the event, so any help you can give us when we determine who our seeds would be will be fantastic.

Please feel free to discuss in this thread! (Most importantly, try to keep it mostly civil.)

The problem with Terry is that there's nothing unique about him. He has two EX Super whereas most of the cast has only one, but his Power Gyser is completely worthless because it's too slow. If you want to mixup, there's other characters that are way better than that, if you want to zone and use his EX Power Wave you could just use Saiki and abuse his Projectile Super which is way better.

He's not bad, but there's nothing unique about him that gives him an X factor. Unlike Leona who has some interesting tech that can make her very dangerous and sets her apart from other characters.

No. The problem with Terry is that he's not like a KOF character. He doesn't play by hopping incessantly and trying to score some hits and opening you up. He's a more relaxed, footsies-oriented character that relies on his very strong normals (cr.B, far C, st.A, close C, df+C, far D, cr.D cancel into Power Wave, C+D) to set up his area, with an amazing crossup and a good wake up pressure tool in EX Power Wave. He has a really fast knockdown overhead that lets him set up his crossup game in EX Crack Shot. His Power Geyser has partial invincibility and can be used to punish overzealous players with a reaction super. He has a RIDICULOUSLY easy, high-damage Neomax combo. He has a simple, easy combo that does decent damage for one drive (and one bar out of the corner).

He's one of the SF4 Transition Characters, as I like to call him. Because he does not fit the primary mentality of the KOF player, which is "how will I rush down today," he is ill-fit to fight in the same way as every other KOF character. He's link King, but slightly more extreme.

I've been around long enough, haven't I? The good old days of N-G.com and S-C.com being my only source for SNK talk and news...

Welcome, nothingxs! I remember you from way back in the day on S-C.com. You had the SF3 Ryu avatar.

Hope you can make great things happen in Florida. 

Yeah, right! I'm not good enough to make great things happen. My skills went into decline when I decided to stop playing so often, and I never "properly" learned how to play -- I am still stuck in my very scrubby, bad skillset that I developed playing in Cancún and never really evolved outside of that. I literally need to relearn everything from scratch again.

My execution is in the gutter, my skills are nonexistent and there's no one to actually play with in Miami that's very good except for that one Chinese kid I met on GGPO whose name I should've saved, because he would've taught me so goddamn much and I, like an idiot, didn't save it.
