Yeah, whether or not it's done in a blockstring, if it is in fact blocked then the spacing and timing for the punishes are going to be exactly the same. Andy stops moving when the opponent blocks, not at a set distance like Joe's Slash Kick, for example. The only factor is whether it was blocked or whiffed.

it must be a timing thing if any.  I'll try to post a vid

the thing i notice in thet video on the Zaienken punish is that he is doing raw zaienken and not in a block string.  I've tested the Kyo Punishes and the only legit one is NEO MAX.  EX Orochinagi didnt touch Andy eventho it looked like it did Andy blocked it clean, also st ;d is very situational coz it wasnt hitting clean all the time...i'd say 2 outta the 10 times i tried it worked.  the block string i used was cr. ;b cr. ;a  ;db ;fd  ;a

K' / Re: K’ (Console)

I dont use K but i think i might, i was missing around with his block strings to find vulnerabilities and openings for KIM but  ;dn ;b ;b  ;dn ;df ;fd ;a or  ;c is safe but Kim can EX Hiezan (flash kick) out of it now...  ;dn ;b ;a into Ein Trigger is way safer. i thik the  ;dn ;a has more block stun so it cant be interupted by DPs and Flash kick moves....prolly old knowledge but thought i'd share just in case

i was just gonna come here and post about Kims Fwd+B (nagitaki) and how you can only combo in to hangetsuzan only if u put a move in front of Nagitaki....just doing nagitaki alone wont work...anyway glad some other ppl figured this out too.

Anybody here play Senko no Ronde???

Quick synopsis:

Mechas + Fighting Game Engine + Shmup + Pseudo-story = Fun Chaos!!!

I had the 1st one which was ported over, but it suffered from baby aggro and now I have to get another one. Part 2, Senko no Ronde DUO, is out, but is region-locked. Hopefully Atlus can port this badboy over though...

I had the first one on Xbox is that a newer version in the screenshot?  that game was fun as hell...i still have it

Great to know that they're working on a patch.

I live in Hawaii and just played a good friend that resides in L.A.,CA

We had 2 bars and the games were disappointing. I didn't mind since I'm fairly new to this game.
The weird thing is - when we play 3S online (xbox on both games) our connection is near flawless. We pulled out red parries without hesitation.

I really do hope that the fix helps out. Online is a huge thing for me considering I don't really have anyone else to play locally. This game is too fun for me to stop playing, and I just need someone to play it with.
Im on oahu , You on psn or xbox, i have it for both but i play mostly on xbox as most fighting games for me play a bit better online threw xbox live....my  gamertags on both systems are monster637

Monster and Nars i'm also in oahu and me.  We should try to met up for some offline sessions too.  nars i believe we met in the 808 FB group also.  glad to see some more KOF players out in Hawaii

Yea I just read the news that they are working a patch...hopefully it helps improve the online.  Tekken 6 had this same issue when it first released and Namco did a patch update that really improve the online.  It's good to know they responded so promptly with it too.  probably wont see it til Jan or early Feb tho...Mar if they really take some time with it. As long as I know its coming i'm ok with.

Glad to hear that a lot of people like her as much as I do. :) Mai is indeed a very solid battery when she's played correctly and she is by far the character I enjoy playing the most since she fits my play style perfectly (Footsie/ runaway/pokes).

I play Mai on point as a battery character (like most people using her), so my mentality when playing her is to maximize damage while using the least meter I can. That said, I'm not a fan of burning 2-3 meters on corner combos when I know my 2nd and 3rd character will use them more efficiently and deal more damage with them (Unless I'm on the verge to OCV, then I don't mind  ;)).

I also use: cr.B, cr.B, st.A/B as a starter string as it is really easy to confirm a hit (or block) and go from there. From the starter string I either go for hcf+B off the st.A if I see I'm close enough to the opponent to land it or directly go to st.B xx st.D which is the easy target combo. cr.B, cr.B, st.A xx hcf+B is definitely my preferred BnB as it does more damage (only 1 point higher, but still...) and brings the opponent closer to the corner. The only bad thing with this BnB is that the hcf+B sometimes whiffs if you're too far from the opponent and we all know what happens when that move is blocked. So, if I'm unsure about my range, I do the Target Combo BnB for similar damage without the positioning advantage. Also, If I see that my starter string is blocked, I cancel st.A into qcf+A which make the whole thing pretty safe.

When my opponent is backed to the corner, I use the same starter string and If I have some meter to burn I go for: cr.B, cr.B, st.A xx EX Ryuenbu, C Ryuenbu, C Ryuenbu, Air throw. Only a single meter used for pretty good damage. If I don't want to spend meter but have Drive meter to burn I do: cr.B, cr.B, st.A xx hcf+A(DC) air qcb.C, C Ryuenbu, Air throw . I believe this one does less damage than the first one, but you save a meter at the expense of a drive meter and a little less damage.

gonna have to use that ex ryuenbu, c ryuenbu x2 in the corner i was usually just doing ex ryuenbu into air throw....thats one the things i like about her is her ability to combo into her air throw.

I guess we can stop and maybe Nilcam is compiling the data that everyone has.
