UMK3 cannot run in FBA. And very unlikely it ever will.  Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try to config the controls now.

Good players: Late teens into Twenties.

Bad players: Early teens.

Okay I followed the instructions, the only thing I didn't do was create a blank zip files from scratch. What I did was take the SPF2T zip, open it in rar, delete all the files, then add a blank new folder file. I tried challenging myself and it seemed to work, but it wouldn't save my button config. 

All the time. I remember picking up 3rd Strike, used Alex in Single Player, tried him online (in the 2DF days) and getting destroyed. I went with Dudley and did better, and used him for about a year, then I saw what Genki and KSK had done with Alex and went back to him, and I would say he's my best character in the game.

For KOF it's been Kim. I picked him randomly, I knew a couple of his moves, and suddenly I'm winning matches and I'm like 'WTF?' and Kim has been a pretty solid staple of the franchise. Kim is one of those characters that stay's relatively the same in every game (Barring Iori, Joe, and maybe Terry) but I always seem to do well with him.

I just hope Sentinel gets nerfed. That's all. 

Ah, I overlooked that. Thanks man. Hopefully it won't be long until the next Demul comes out.

For right now I've settled with: Gato (leader), Shen, Kim. Two other characters I like are K' and Oswald, but Gato will stay as my leader, his LDM is just too damn good to pass up.

Thanks, do you have Oswald's combos? He seems like a pretty simple rekka character with priority and mixups like crazy. I'd still like to know how you do do QCF LP, QCF LK, into LDM. I think that's the combo. I know you can super cancel that LDM, but I'd like to know how those high level Oswald players find other ways to combo into it. Even though I'll probably go with Gato as leader, but I'd still like to know it.

That's been dumped too but tbh you're not missing too much. Metal Slug 6 feels like a watered down Metal Slug 3. I still say that the last great MS game was 5.

So far I'm liking Shen with Gato and Oswald. I checked Cyberfanatix and still couldn't anything on combos. Not that I really need it with Shen and Gato as they're pretty simple to use and I know Gato pretty well. But not knowing Oswald's potential is driving me nuts.

That's easy to nullify, just activate XFC when she becomes Phoenix. It still takes 4-5 hits into Super to kill her.

I checked and couldn't find a guide on combos. SRK wiki has bit the dust and I checked around the usual sources and couldn't find combo guides or anything.  I even checked Gamefaqs and nothing on combos. So I'm looking for that. Any suggestions on who I should team up with who?

So far I like:

Gato, Oswald, Iori, Shen, Duo Lon, Ralph, Kyo, and Kim.

I'm comfortable with Gato, Kim, and Iori. Well, Iori is piss-easy so...

I'll probably stick Gato/Oswald as leader. I hate to be a tier whore but I know Gato really well, and Oswald is pretty easy to pick up and has a vicious mixup.

I thought I'd post this because a new Demul will be out that supports NGBC, KOFXI, and Samurai Shodown 6, and the netplay is pretty good. I played a guy in California in CVS2 and it was fine. The problem is the desyncing after 3-5 matches.

I heard that in Mexico they were able to hack it. Who knows.

Quite a few characters have infinites, there's quite a few bugs that prevent it from being played on GGPO/Supercade. Again, it's not so bad that it's on par with Clayfighter or anything. It can be fun sometimes. I'd compare to Jackie Chan's Fists of Fire. Really odd looking, simple controls, broken, but fun as hell.

I'm still working on my Franco, there's still things I need to learn. I'd still play ya' of course.

So far I'd consider myself decent with: Terry, Krauser, Joe, Kim, and Franco. I've dropped Geese because I can't kara his 360's with him. The other characters don't appeal to me.
