Wow, I haven't posted here in a while! lol

First off, I'd like to apologize to everyone for not playing "at all" yesterday. Especially, to Kane317, (when you asked why I wasn't playing) sorry man  :(

I'm not going to give up playing and learning KOF13 but I'm trying to take the learning process slow and not rush, admittedly till the console version comes out. Having summer classes sounds like a very poor excuse, I know, but I haven't got a chance to play or practice "any" games the whole week till yesterday night. After not touching the game for a while and coming back to it, it becomes very difficult, skills are forgotten, and I would have to learn some things all over again. In other words, I did not want to get killed by everyone when I haven't practiced for so long and nearly forgotten a lot of stuff lol But that's why everyone encourages each other to keep playing and practicing  ;) Also to Jason, keep playing man! Hopefully I can come down today to AA to get some games down with everyone.

All in all, I only have Thursdays and Fridays to play (depending) so the learning process will be "very" slow for me. But I still really want to play and learn KOF 13. Hopefully, when the console version comes, learning will be much easier. (Yes, it looks like I'm taking the easy way out  :( lol) See everyone soon! Sorry for the long post.

Fyi there will be no KOF at AA this weekend.
Sorry to ask such an awkward question Oscar, but are you saying that the KOFXIII cabinet won't be at Alex's for the weekend or are you saying that nobody is going to show up to play on the weekends?

GGS, to everyone I played at Alex's Arcade tonight (even though I was basically "free" the whole day and my skill level was not on par with everyone else's).  I apologize that I didn't play much more, later into the night. It was great to observe high level play. Not only that, but it was also nice seeing members of this forum in person and getting to know them better. Hopefully we can do it again next Thursday. GGS!  ;)

You're most likely referring to Reynald (l2slythe), Rj (4leaf)'s younger brother. I'm the Duo Lon, Chin and Shen user.

Oh wow, man do I feel embarrassed now. I'm sorry for mistaking everyone, my bad! I need to be more careful next time.

Lol yeah that was me. GG's yesterday. Don't be afraid to ask me questions, i'll be happy to answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Yeah, most of us look scarier than we are; all of us are really friendly and glad to help.
Thanks for the welcome and help guys. I am very grateful. I'll be sure to ask Q's, if it's alright with everyone. And to l2slythe, ggs!  :)

Thanks for the heads up man, I appreciate it very much! As a big fighting game fan, I really want to learn and enjoy this game! :)

Were you the guy yesterday that wore the white shirt and sunglasses that played an "extremely" good Benimaru as well? I was the asian guy that came in the afternoon with glasses wearing a black shirt and jeans and was using a team of Iori, Leona, and Shen. I can remember Duc using a team of Shen, Ash, and Iori. Sorry if I creeped both of you guys out by sitting and analyzing your matches for a complete 25 minutes before playing. lol

GGS to both of you, even though I'm barely starting out with my team of Iori, Leona, and Shen, I find these characters really fun but hard as hell to learn. Sorry for repeating this. (By the way, I'm dropping Mai for now since I have trouble figuring her out, although I do hear that she is a very basic character to learn.) And to Duc, that Iori regular command grab that connected on Ash's Neomax (I think) was epic, even though I couldn't capitalize on that moment with a super. :( But I'll be sure to try harder next time. ;)

Welcome to Dreamcancel Sam and glad you got a chance to register since we see you at AA from time to time.  As for what days we go it really varies.  For the most part you can see Ash (CMD.Duc)M-Th from 5pm ish-8pm, Mr Kof/John goes there almost daily, and the rest is really random.  I personally try to make it once or twice week but I usually only stay 1h-2hrs.  The name's Yuhang and I'm the Chin user btw.

Thanks for the heads up man, I appreciate it very much! As a big fighting game fan, I really want to learn and enjoy this game! :)

P.S. Welcome to the forum Sam, make sure you introduce yourself to the rest of the website on the meet and greet section.

Oops, seems like I overlooked it. My bad. Thanks Oscar, I'll definitely make sure to do that.  ;)

Hello, my name is Sam. I frequent Alex's arcade since I live just up the street from it (I'm the guy with the glasses who is starting to learn KOF). And I was just wondering:

Does anyone know the scheduling of when people show up and play KOFXIII? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I am assuming that weekends are empty?

I usually show up on weekdays (mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but other days depending) from 3:30 till probably closing. Thanks for any incoming replies I appreciate it.
