Good read, he only talks about voices and a bit of bringing back characters, but it probably works in a similar way in other parts of the game, like character designs or music, etc.

I don't think SG having 8 characters was primarily a budget constraint. I think it was a time constraint because all of the character animations are hand drawn instead of taking the easy way and doing 3d models and tracing over them.

It had a long development time, i remember seeing the game many, many years ago, around the time of KOF XI and before the announcement of XII.

And after so long the game is lacking in some points  (not gameplay-wise) it definitely means they didn't have a big budget.

AGREED! as a football fan (excuse me it's not soccer) my favorite National team is Germany. So have you seen them yesterday?

Watched most of the 1st time only because i had other thigs to do at that time, but at least i watched Lahm's super goal  .

It's an awesome game (VF5FS) but it's not like Sega makes a good job advertising that series, the main reason being it's not a Sonic game, so a lot of people pass on VF.

It's good to hear the Final Showdown version released some weeks ago is selling better than they expected, at least in Japan.

Holy crap dude, i remember a few months ago i was looking for a video of Dan's taunt super, remembering it was the best (or my favorite) of Dan's super taunts over the years, but couldn't find a decent video. Thanks a lot, keep up with the good work.

Also, now that it's been years later and looking back, most supers and some exceeds are in the....lame side.

I've heard (before the US release of Vita) the game had some really long ass loading times, how is the final game or the version you are trying?

Got the game, and i'm totally in love with Vanessa moves, same with Eileen.
These 2 are the only characters i liked so far (only tried 3 characters, Vanessa, Eileen and Wolf, but didn't like him).

Planning to try Goh and Brad next. So, any other character you recommend to someone playing VF seriously for the first time?

I like it a lot, but like said i got to the middle of Volume 3 (currently there are 7 Vol).

If you like stuff with guns and all that, it's a good read. There's also 4 short ovas of 15 min each, they give you a hint of the main characters, but still you need to read the manga after that.

We should separate the terms to describe, like "sexy", "cute", "hot", "beautiful", etc, they don't necesarily mean the same.
