Social Club / Re: DigitalNinja's KOF Renderings
« on: January 13, 2011, 07:05:15 PM »
Shapes, proportions, facial features etc are a bit odd, quite standard for modern anime/manga i guess but i prefer what snkp has going.

A typical thing that is easy to spot and point out is the very long eyebrows of many of these characters and their often oddly directed faces, i assume that the person who drew these pictures chose to point (as an example) andys face straigth to the side because that is the easiest way to draw a head and requires both less thought and effort than adding just the little bit of angle that could make it look a lot more natural.

It's neither great nor crap but needs more work and effort, though even then, seeing how things are looking i'm quite sure i would prefer snkps style.

Half a world between me and EVO, quite certain i won't make it. Would gladly see kof13, i could go just to see ssf4 though so i could take a detour from that and enjoy kof13 on a regular setup without regret. But still, there is the issue of the atlantic ocean so i guess not.

Hello, my name is Mikael and i'm from sweden. I play ssf4 quite actively on psn and could gladly take a shot at kof 12 if anyone is up for it, even just to get some simple variation.

SNK Games / Re: Next updated franchise

Metal Slug.

SNK has driven it into the ground but the first and second are simply amazing, still some of the best 2D visuals and gameplay to this day. Its also the only non-fighter SNK franchise that has legs imo.

I don't care for metal slug 2, it wasn't bad but the first one was simply perfect (to me) so the sequels didn't stand a chance, atleast back when i played the first few. Anyways, metal slug 7 is the latest game in the series that i played and it was pretty good. It's not the great classic that the original was (still is), but it is playworthy. And anyday i wanna relive the glory of metal slug, i just replay the first game, it is awesome, i even love the credits.

I however voted for art of fighting as it is as far as story involvement goes the best fighting game i've seen. I have no idea what the story would be, or if there would even really be a point to making another sequel, but hell, i'd buy it if they made it.

I do agree that fatal fury probably has a far greater chance at success, either series is fine with me.
