given that a lot of the top players know each other, I don't see how it would be possible for there not to be collusion going on in the late rounds/finals of tournaments.

Compare the balancing of the first MvC3 and T6-- T6 had more characters at that point, and was more balanced than MvC3 was...

To be fair, I think Namco actually has SOME interest in making games that are at least slightly balanced, unlike capcom.  Capcom apparently makes characters who they intend to be borderline unplayable, and characters who they want to be borderline overpowered.  How many 7-3 or 8-2 match ups are there in recent tekken games compared to in SSFIV:AE2012?

An apt comparison, seeing how awful Alpha 1 was.

All I know is that just about everyone from Team Tekken has complained that there's no Tekken to be found here. Which makes me wonder, why they didn't just make the game like the EX series or Bloody Roar?

Hardly any tekken?  Can Kazuya do 1,1,2?  That's all the tekken you need.

any idea how long the game actually is?  I presume somebody must have finished it?

personally, my favourite part about xenogears was saving the game right before every level up, and then resetting until I gained one that wasn't like +1 HP, +1 strength.  For every character.  For the entire game.

That actually makes more sense (the points of stun), considering that all the heavy attacks are 7...good point.  Is it possible that the two values are actually the same (so long as the move doesn't knock down)?

'22 frames on entire motion for whiff'' what is the meaning of this?

My guess would be that if you do the move, and it whiffs, it is 22 frames until you can act again.  So the 22 frames is the total for start up, active and recovery frames

I haven't seen anything that seems glaringly wrong, although I've only actually looked through a few of the characters.  It seems pretty legit

^ stun

So I guess it must be frames of hitstun?  Makes sense...thanks Kane

ok, so quick question...I have figured out the obvious things.  first column is the move in question, second is damage, fourth is startup and 5th is frames on block.  I guess 6th column is special notes or whatever, but what is the 3rd column?  recovery? active frames?  I put it into google translate and got "The tan"

3S.  That's all he plays.  That's how he made his legend.  He's said on multiple occasions he never played SF4.

I guess I just didn't realize how strange the team selection was.  It's fair enough that hes a 3S player, but at the same time, that would kinda be like if a bunch of the team Tekken guys hadn't played a Tekken game since T4 or TTT or something (not that that would actually matter in this case, but still).

it's weird to me that dr. subzero was talking about his lack of experience in street fighter IV...what did he play instead?  I find it extremely strange that a guy who got onto team street fighter wasn't well-versed in the most recent street fighter game.

Aris AKA Ghetto Hagrid.  What a guy.  He can't even talk about Tekken well, because he is so inarticulate and gets hung up on stupid things (like the fact that he likes bad characters and unsurprisingly, their moves have bad frames)
