I would guess that a lot of the reason for them wearing them is to help prevent distractions from outside sources of noise (like people yelling and carrying on while watching the matches).  I'm sure that some of them also have various audio hit confirms, etc that they are used to hearing.

I'm far from a top player, but Sennheiser makes some really good headphones.

maybe consider robert for your second character.  He has a lot of tools, is ok without a lot of meter, builds it reasonably well, and gets better when he has some.  He also has a command throw, and gets decent damage out of simple combos

Andy: 1 stock, 1 Meter: j.D, st. D, fd+A, hcf+B (BD), db-fd + AC, dp + c (DC) hcf + b (BD) db-fd + a, dp + c = 545

A little confused, I tried this combo and replaced j.D with j.C as well to maximize damage, but it only does 471 :/

I found a slightly better version of this combo that does 554...
j.C, s.D, f+A, hcf+B (BD) db-f+A, db-f+AC, dp+C [DC] hcf+B (BD), db-f+C, dp+C

Basically it just replaces the last light zaneiken with a heavy zaneiken from sibarraz's combo, and does about 10 more damage.

I think as posted originally, Sibarraz left out the first kuuhaden brake, before the EX zaneiken.

I watched the team tekken stream for a while.  It was like 15 minutes of somebody trying to do bob's trials.  And not being very successful

good point about Lei, I forgot about him, too.  Perhaps Lei and Bruce makes more sense than Bryan and Bruce.  In any case, I am looking forward to seeing the REAL, final, release day roster.

so how many characters do you think are going to end up as DLC/unlockables/are already in the game and not announced?

The ones that really stand out for me are Honda, Blanka, Guy and Cody for the SF side and Bruce, Bryan, Lars and Alisa on the Tekken side.  Blanka and Honda are the only original SFII characters not in it, Guy and Cody were in one of the cinematic trailers, Bruce is one of the longest-serving tekken characters, Bryan is very popular, and Lars and Alisa are basically the main characters of the most recent canon Tekken game.  It seems very unlikely to me that none of these characters would be in the game.

Approaching corner j.C, s.C, df+C [HDA] s.C, df+C, dp+A [HDC] qcb+D [HDC] dp+C, qcb+D [HDC] dp+C, (qcb+B [HDC] dp+C)x2, qcb+B [HDC] (qcf)x2+BD.  pretty easy

well hey, at least we can all agree that nobody will use it, unless it is activated accidentally.  In a video where Daigo was playing another japanese player from team madcatz, the other guy (non-Daigo) actually used it and won a round, I think, but he pretty much got lucky and hit him with a poke or an overhead as one of the Tekken characters.

yeah...by good super, I mean like shinkuu hadouken (which I think just does a bunch of hits and damage, regardless of where it hits from).  Unless of course, the timer stops for the dramatic scene that most supers lead to...

Nope, doing trials don't unlock chibi icons, survival does. But you can't choose Dark Ash or Boss Saiki to clear either of them.

I think you're wrong about this...As far as I can tell, you get the chibi icon for a given character by clearing time attack with them.  I say this because the only chibis I have are the characters that I have cleared time attack with.   I'm pretty sure that you don't get anything for survival, besides the achievement for 35 wins
