There's also various match analyses (not commentary) on random matches on our accounts on elive.pro if anyone wanted to see them you can be my guest but don't expect some crazy quality as we're still practicing ;)

I'm curious, what do you discern as the difference between commentary and analysis?
please be very critical!! as it will make Kane 317 cringe, and I find extreme enjoyment in that lol, jk. Never admit to sucking, that's what the viewers are for. but really criticism and suggestions are more than welcome

Yeah substitute that last ex fireball for A version, it should be close to impossible to interrupt, and it saves you wasting that ex to set up other gaurd break blockstun oppurtunities, or just plain saving meter.  The fact that Ex fireball pushes you forward and resets your position to continue safe blockstrings makes it really useful for gaurd crushes

so now ryo's parry is waaay better now, after playing with him at Evo I noticed his parry recovers faster, and according to No.17 gives you frame advantage as oppose to you just  being Invincible and trying to interrupt a move with a special. I parried a stand A from leona, and punished with a hcb D. I also parried a jump in and punished with a hcb D, I tested that out it appeared to be Height dependent so you can't always do it.

also hcb D seemed faster which helped a lot with the more difficult combo's, and punishing certain things

don't sleep on Ryo guys I think he's a more solid character than people give him credit for and with his buffs he's gonna be even better, practice up!!!

any uppercut would breakthrough, and it's pretty easy to see especially if you whoever you are playing always cancels into any version of golden heel after a fwd b. I saw haxmurderer was getting away with it a lot against you guys at one of the ranbats, but it can't be used the same as crackshoot in a blockstring, crackshoot is a lot more difficult to punish and time to hit.

none of the golden heel moves leave you on frame advantage except for maybe ex. And d version tiger knee is the one the most considerable amount of invincibility, however doesn't reach hit frames until a lot later it leaves a big window to use a safe jump attack.

question

the new terry A into C combo and all the combos in the game like this r  link or target combos ? im not talking about command normals so i was curious to know about the technical timing to do them if its like link or target combo

and crossups (even if fixed in console version) r easy to do like in shit fighter or harder like u need specific settings or situation to do them or all u just need is the right distance and u can do them whenever/wherever u want ? off course talking about crossups jump in and hops

it's not a link, which is when you combo from one move to another move using the first moves frame adv that's a link., d.A to d.C cancels into itself.

I don't think he would invest in a 13 cab, for the simple reason that is's a bad move considering it's gonna be super obsolete when console 13 comes out. However if they did have the console version there I would make trips out there from time to time since it's closer to me. But my homebase will always be the OC unfortunately lol unless everybody there moves

Archives / Re: KOF XIII Evo Discussion
« on: August 04, 2011, 05:02:11 AM »

So me saying the whole SBO discussion, even as I was telling others here, that is in reply to the 10+ messages I got with people asking me "Who I thought was going to win EVO for KOF13" and them all saying they thought Xian was going to win it because he got Top 4 at SBO.

hey man nobody who was at Evo thought Xian was gonna beat everybody in the tournament because most of us knew he hadn't played in a year, if anything we were surprised he did so well. And don't be so quick to discredit SBO he placed 4th stopped playing for a year, and came back to beat people who have playing it regularly since it came out.

people could be saying the same thing about your tournaments. I don't think it would be a good idea as a T.O. to discredit such a highly regarded tournament by using Xian's placing as an example that definitely does not hold weight.

of course I say this with utmost respect and simply stated why I differ in opinion
