WAIT WHAT. How does MB have quickfix iterations aside from MBAACC, which has fairly good updates from the original MBAA (Serious balance fixes, bugfixes, character additions, etc). Plus MBAACC is still being worked on, like KOFXIII was until the current version. Fuck it.

I can understand the fact that the old rehashes that Capcom did were acceptable, because there weren't too many means of updating everything. Nowadays though, they could fix everything with a patch and some DLC.

Aqua / Black = Sprites
Red / Grayish-Red = Counterhit Hurtbox
Yellow / Green / Purple  = Regular Hurtbox
White / Grayish-Purple / Orange = Attack hitbox

IN MOAR DETAIL.
Aqua = Normal anyday sprites
Black = Grabbed state sprites

Red = Standing normals counterhit hitbox
Grayish-red = Counterhit extension hurtbox

Green = Extension hurtbox
Yellow = Hurtbox

White = Normals
Grayish Purple = Special Moves
Orange = Projectiles

Blah, there's more but that's all you really need to know. Most purplish shades of the normal variety are the same, just during a jumping / special move.

Is it P2 only like lots of older KOF games?

Anyways, if you're in HD mode and you die, do you lose all of it, or do you get some of the HD bar back? Not sure if this was already asked, sorry if it was.

Actually there are significant differences between 2K2UM and Tougeki. Tougeki is rebalanced and tons of small changes were made.

As far as the Final Editions, these are ports to the Nesicaxlive system to keep them in arcades. If they are ported to home consoles, which seems unlikely, it's very different than the MvC3 situation. MvC3 came out about a year before UMvC3. 98UM came out years after 98UM and 98UMFE came out years after that.
Not even a year, it's like ten months. (Feb 11th for MvC3 release, November is the supposed release date. Alas, UMvC3 is already in arcades.)
The final editions probably won't ever hit consoles, unfortunately. Too bad they can't just update 2002UM / 98UM on XBLA to Final Edition.

KBlackNoah, quit persisting that SNK did the same thing. It's obvious they didn't.

Increase range, it probably has the farthest range of all Ex throws IIRC; her Gore Fest is already a 1 frame throw.

Pretty much. Here's a little thought though.

2002 to 2002UM - 23 characters added, one removed.
98 to 98UM - 18~ characters added.
New system mechanics were introduced in both UM versions (Ultimate Bar, etc)

Now let's take a look at SF2. Through that course of ten years, four characters were added. Oh, and a meter system / character styles. (HSF2)

98UM / 2002UM were significant updates and bugfixes. Also, there aren't eight versions of 2002 / 98. There's two. UM and Vanilla. There are seven SF2's, three SF3's, three SFA's, three SF4's, two MvC3's. You can't compare releasing a UM with significant updates to releasing a new SF2 with only one / two extra characters.
Explain how they're milking older SNK games, when Capcom is doing the same.

This game could literally bomb based on the fact that people may feel cheated out of their money due to a different upgraded version coming out months after the original release.
Unfortunately it won't happen. Most modern-day Capcom fans are stupid beyond belief, so they'll buy it all the same. Same reason AE is selling.

He has fairly sufficient damage (I can get like 50% with most advanced combos) and decent spacing, along with fairly gdlk 2C / 2D / 5A's.

You know nothing on about making sentences or properly forming you haven't tried.

I'm pretty sure making a stick like that wouldn't be that difficult so long as you have the materials / tools. My god all you need to do is heat seal plastics together, and add other misc parts (hinges, etc) to make it a full imitation. It could EASILY be done in only a few days for less than half the price.

I wasn't talking about the artwork, the layout of the buttons are terrible and badly aligned for actual play. Of course some people like that straight-line layout, but it's unconventional for mostly everybody. I realize that artwork is printed a tad larger than the stick itself so it won't look incorrect if the art is misaligned. If it's misaligned though, the company should get the machine fixed.

What does piss me off is Capcom constantly trying to get away with more and more bullshit. It's like with every game they decide to rip us off a little more by giving us less content, more crap dlc, and an absurdly short amount of downtime before double-dipping.
