'AC version' refers to the arcade version :) When referring to the EX version of a special move/DM they use 'EX版'.

HAHA...well that makes a lot of sense, sorry I doubted you! =) *Quietly sneaks off and never mentions Chin's changes just in case SNKP regrets their decision* =)

I love these updates. Random thoughts:

System:
Not sure how I feel about damage scaling changes. I guess encouraging shorter combos can make the game less intimidating to newer players, but I'll have to see the final product.

Robert: Didn't his f+A hit twice in the arcade (AC) version? Is it down to just one hit, or did it only hit once because of the spacing?

Ash: Thermidor (fireball DM) coming out faster. IT'S ABOUT TIME. How did it take SNKP so long to realize how bad that DM was? Also, I really hope Germinal costing no stocks will encourage people to finish Sans Cullotte with it. It was a waste to let such a cool move go unused.

Chin: I, for one, welcome our new drunken overlords.

Raiden: It's nice that he didn't only receive nerfs. Hopefully he'll still have some popularity.

lolz: Ralf = Power. Fuck yeah, Yamamoto understands Ralf perfectly. Also, KOF Sky Stage being the origin of the air Orochinagi is brilliant.

So Chin just flat-out has no minus to drinking anymore? So there's no element of being risky... it's just an overall buff? That's kinda scary. Even if his EX counter does less, he can now drink-it-up safely to still do a heap of damage, with the only negative being that he'll have to stand and drink a sec.

SHHHHH What are you doing?  You're going to wake up SNKP!  Nothing to see here...

Very interesting that he's the only character in the game so far, who can hit after his normal throw!

Technically it's a Command Normal Throw because it can be tech'd and it's only that version can only be follow uped in the corner.

metaphysics

man talk about luck with characters, I'm looking at you buddy   ;up ;up ;up

Oh yeah and Robert having a launcher? craaaaaazy!! not saying it's broken or anything just super random
" you fight well in the old style"

Gimnbo

Having never played the game, does/did King's stand-alone slide knock down?

Flowtaro

Does Robert's f+A hit high? Otherwise, I don't see its utility being very high.

I think that's probably the only change that I'm confused about; everything else looks really good.

Nop, it doesn't knock down. But you can now cancel it to Spinning Kick (qcb+K) and you will knockhim down with that.

Xxenace

I like what they did with Chin's drinking. Before it made no sense bc you'd be giving opponents damage buffs for free. Hope to see people build it up to max level and rip a long combo.

Really loving some of the changes in general (although this is the point), really helps you to use the full range of tools each character has. I especially felt this way for the Vice/Ash changes.

Also nice that they completely considered the fact that Raiden will have to be played as a character that depends on other moves and have made him interesting and balanced in terms of his gameplay. The crazy thing that has me fearing again is weak poison breath. Check how there is only minuscule hit back from this move allowing him to get another close C into poison again. Hoping this will not lead to a freakishly broken corner game where he might be able to loop that 5-6 times...
Probably going to be OK with the amount of attention they gave him with the re-balance, but man, appearances scare.

Flowtaro

It was C breath into a stand C into A breath into throw. A breath doesn't have enough frame advantage to lead into anything other than throw. They wouldn't just give him an easy-ass infinite.
