The DLC stages are only avaliable for online matches, if you want them for versus or training they don't appear

This happens since in ranked and player matches you can't select the stage

Well I guess it makes sense, besides it's not like the stage is all that important, especially since there aren't stage themes.

 I'm cool with not picking the stage and have the game randomly pick it for me, you see there's not a stage that I don't like and they all look prety impressive so is all good, plus this means more time fighting and less time waiting for the player host to pick the stage.

Aw, so it's like MK, no stage selection.    

Oh wait, but there is stage selection offline versus, but online, there is no stage selection, but ONLINE matches are random stage, and there is chance the DLC stages will be chosen online, is that right?  

So technically, KOF95 and KOF96 stages are already available online??   I have yet to see the KOF96 stage in action. is it the same as KOF-i version? I'd think the XIII's version has more animations.

Well I like stage selection online, people can still choose random, but like for tournaments or special preferences, it's always cool for winner to be able to choose the stage.

So yea I guess it's a step above MK.  
no stage selection online,  but Stage selection is allowed offline, and online has 2 extra stages in the mix.

The best part is that even in the highway part there is people walkin and cars running

WOW so KOF96 stage also changes from day to night as the rounds continue???? 0.0   KOF96 Esaka and Athena version were already mindblowing as it is!!!!!!

It's a shame there is no option to select stage. I won't lie, I always pick Random. But there are times I like to pick certain stages, specially in KOF, since some of them are awesome.

Hopefully they can patch that in.

Regarding EX KYO Stage, I bet all the stages are there already in the game and I wouldn't be surprised if EX KYO and Mr. Karate are in the Disc as well. We most likely will be buying Unlock Keys, if not then they might do what BlazBlue did, which was update the game with the character + extra stuff (Trials, etc) and then you just buy the unlock key. That way you can fight against them online even if you didn't bought them.

that's nice since most games i've played with dlc characters didn't make trials for them.

did u finish any trials for a single charcater and if yes did they unlock icons or something ?

Look on the bright side, there's no boring generic training stage in XIII like in SF4 and MvC3. God I hated fighting in those stages when they are selected, even worse when I'm watching a stream and that's the only stage that comes up. Christ. I can't get excited in a bland stage with nothing going on.

I've read those stages are good for online matches, because it makes the match smoother for being plain stages.
Don't know if true tho.

Anyways those stages are good to analize moves, like range and stuff like that.
