Less than two hours until the official return of Toonami.  Better enjoy it until people inevitably hate on it thanks to the reduced budget and it goes away permanently.
On 5/26, something that defined a generation shall make its rightful return.  #Toonamisbackbitches.  Prepare yourselves.  Bang.

Yeah, this is Will Smith.  If he's making a sequel to a movie, don't expect much...though now that I think about it, other than the MIB series, how many sequels to movies has he done?

Bad Boys, and a 3rd one is probably getting made withing the next 5 years. But those are Michael Bay movies so we all know they are and will be crap.

But hey, let's have less talk about shitty topics and more talk about other pointless and also probably shitty topics.

Godamnit, nobody told me there wasn't a new Korra episode today, or the next week. I wasted around 15 minutes trying to get Episode 08.

And damn, Deadman Wonderland...

What , tell me dude, a new animu season? you found your folder of Deadman porn? The manga is getting good? (haven't read it, so far only watched the tv show)

I haven't watched it at all, until now since it's on Toonami's new block.

Casshern Sins is next.

So, yeah. I'm definitely sticking with Deadman Wonderland it's shaping up like a pretty awesome mindfuck anime. I just can't help but know the art style. It looks way too familiar and fantastic looking. Anyways, it's nice to see something that isn't shounen.

I also watched Casshern, but that intro ep. was pretty slow. I'll stick it out and see if it picks up, my brother apparently can't get over the animation style.

I'll skip FMA and GitS (never watched the films anyway) like I did with Bleach. Anyone else think that Bleach's animation is really looking dated? Ichigo's face makes him look retarded.

But yeah, so far so good. A shame they didn't have the budget to contract the old announcer.

It'd be hard to get Peter Cullen to do crap anyway since he's busy with Transformers Prime.

Deadman looks plenty mindfucked right...no better way to start a series than mass slaughter and a frame job.

Casshern looks...interesting.  I'll stick around because Casshern himself is a beast.  Confirmed for TvC2 final boss.

Also, hearing that Steve Blum might be voicing TOM for free for the time being.

No I will wait because I am a patient man.

EDIT:  Also, why is it whenever I end up seeing GITS, I keep running into the same damn episode?

I'm patient as well. Show is pretty short and it doesn't look like something I want to see in long bursts.

So I finished Season 1 of Avatar during the shounen drudge of Toonami. Not bad at all. Lots of Shinto imagery abound. I can't help but feel that the whole sexism thing felt a bit forced but eh, I guess it works.

*looks at his work schedule* *cries* 10 days straight of non-stop work. Ugh...
