Well, we all thought the Pyro was a crazy evil psychopath who liked to burn things and people, because he liked to see things burn. But now it seems he sees the world in a different way, which pretty much kills the previous point.
Also the Pyro-vision was just too long.

On the good points, it's good to see Valve didn't reveal his/her face, gender or anything that ruins the character's mystery. Also it's good to see even his (or her) teammates are afraid of him.
And big plus for some of the real world parts, mainly the town on fire, maybe going to make a gif of that.

Still i was more disappointed than pleased by the video, but still liked it and i think it was "barely good", and yes, not worth the hype.

I mean, I liked it up until the whole Pyrovision reveal. Eh, I would've at least liked to have seen a vague hint of what he/she looked like as a joke, but they didn't.

Well, now I just gotta wait the next 10 years for a reveal of Half-Life 3.

Now that you mention it, is P4G THE definitive version of the game?

Something like if someone gets Golden, there is absolutely no point to get the original P4 (maybe for collection purposes, if we include those people).

Asking because i want to play P3-P4-P4Arena, in that order and if P4G makes the original obsolete, then i will try to get a Vita for that.

Also and just in case, no spoilers pretty please.

It is THE DEFINITIVE VERSION. It has everything the original had and then some. Which includes updated graphics, new personas, portability new town, new events and new moves. The only thing different here is that they're changing the voice overs for both Teddie and Chie whose old VAs weren't available and are now set to do P4G and P4A. I'm not sure if they're as good as the originals.

Another thing to keep in mind is that P4G comes in October. A full solid two months after Arena. If you want to wait that long to get filled in on the story, then by all means go for it, but you'll want to stay far away from the story mode of P4A, since it takes place a few months after the events of the original game.

p4g is the best rpg I've ever played - end of line

It always has been. Always will be. Only RPG able to make me almost cry 3 times. That's quite the accomplishment. October can't come fast enough!

I'm guessing you are talking about the English voices, because i just searched and both of those characters have the same VA (P4 and P4G).

No big deal i guess, after all i love the English voicework of P3FES, and i'm one of those who prefers my games with the voices in the original language of such game.

Yeah, pretty much the English voiceovers. I still dunno how they stack up to the originals though, but I can safely say that they're better than the Japanese by a mile.

High resolution hand drawn sprites, unequaled frames of animation per character, the first real time lighting system for a 2D fighter.

Is this true?! it was on shoryuken wiki for skullgirls.

Thats the thing I played it a bit, much respect for that game but I noticed some frame skipping in it like BB and GG; when playing SF 3rd strike and KoF XIII you can notice the skipping in other games thats why I was surprised to read that it has unequaled per animation per second.
