Greetings From Japan!!!

Hello guys!

  The name's MJ and I'm currently stationed in Tokyo, Japan.  I've dabbled a bit with KoF over the years ('95, '98, CvS2, SvC, MI and MI2) but XIII will be the first time I'll be seriously attempting to get into the series.  I wandered onto a XIII machine last summer in Akihabara, and I was blown away.  I couldn't really describe it, but it felt like it had something special to it that I haven't seen in fighters for a long time.  And I have been waiting for the console release ever since.
  My PSN IDs are Ion317 and Ion_317 (Japanese, tends to be better for online fighting), but since I'm new, I'll probably just be in the lab for the next couple of months trying to get things down before I go online.  But in the meantime, I'll be lurking around trying to pick up info.  Nice to meet you all!

No need to hole up in the lab for that long.  Gotta play to make sure what you're practicing actually makes sense in a real match ;)

Working in the lab is fine, but getting my ass kicked in Tokyo arcades also helped me a lot. Have you been to Shinjuku Carnival arcade? Definitely recommended!

I envy you man!!! I haven't been to Japan since TGS '04 (killing cats in VF2 oh yeah!!!)

Being in the West Coast, I can get online matches with alot of JP players, in 02UM, NGBC, and VF5, so if you're online, I'll be willing to get some matches in XIII with ya...
