Osaka tourney hosting AE'12 and KOFXIII.  Seems to be mixing it up between the two, last I saw it was on AE, but XIII should be going on eventually.  Godsgarden crew is there, but since I can't read Japanese, I could not tell you who's actually in the KOF bracket.

some notable things i saw on stream.

Japanese luv daimon.
I think i saw a bug : kim threw iori while flashing purple because of being hit by the flame.
Kula and reflect beni's anywhere shock thing.

Haitani, an SF4 and 3rd Strike player, takes out the SBO KOFXIII champ.

Grand final was RF, another SF player, against Haitani.

RF wins.

Level of play was average overall, these guys were mostly playing of off fundamentals.

Not a single successful HD combo in the entire top 8.

Yeah, I wasn't very impressed.  I doubt they practice the game much at all.

Im glad it wasnt just me that thought the kof gameplay was abit meh. Compared to the gameplay ive seen in the states, the states is defintely better looking.

Haitani didnt do takuma justice at all. he was doing sC,f+B into dm. wtf? his AA dm was mostly fail too. I didn't see them do a lot of drive cancels either.

For what?  The gameplay was decent at best.  Most of our SoCal players could run circles around the players in that tourney.

And it isn't really Godsgarden, only some players from Godsgarden showed up.
