Thoughts on day 2:
- Taiwan's Ren has the best Mature to date imo. He knows this character, does not just pick her to do the cheap frame traps like everyone else.
- Korea dominating, most made it very far and 4 of Cafe ID are in top 8.
- The most problematic character this tournament has hands down been Billy, more than Karate. The Asian players in particular don't know what to do against him. Honestly, he looks rather top tier. Even Bala, I feel was riding on the fact that ppl can't do anything against Billy's pressure. Once ppl took out his Billy he seemed beatable.
- Didn't see enough Kaoru
- MADKof had a poor showing for most of the tournament but his match to get into top 8 was nuts. Duolon play at its finest.
- Mr. Kof's troll Ash combo on Zerp lol, so good.
- Dat Pikachu Leona.
Overall I would say that so far this game has had an excellent showing, I think the crowd will love what they will see tomorrow. All the non Billy players need to seriously sit down and take him apart by tomorrow.
