When GGPO worked, great games from everyone I played. Can't wait till the next one of these. Always love fighting those at my level or better; raises the need to sharpen my skills every time.

Hoping next time GGPO can Cooperate with me. Anyways, Fun chilling and chatting with ya'll and spectating your matches. ;)

jedpossum

Hopefully next time I'll have less to do and a stick. I'll at least have one of these.

Custle

I hope that next time session starts diefferent time. This time 6 pm meant that I was sleeping when you were playing.

I really wanted to come :( , Too bad I WRECKED my only pad. I couldn't get it fixed in time sorry!

Feez

This was a lot of fun. I was a bit busy so I couldn't play as many sets as I would have liked, but hopefully next time will be better. GGs to those I played with.
they don't think it be like it is, but it do

I'm glad people enjoyed the event.

The next session will be sometime mid next month.

Watching the videos, is there anything you guys learned or would have done less or more of? Any characters you have trouble against?

I would say that I have trouble against against Billy because of his reach with his staff and that his jump attacks have very good priority. I also think I need to stop jumping so much toward Athena because I kept getting air thrown and jumping into Shining Crystal Bit. I need to also react better to her psycho teleport cross up trick that THE ANSWER was hitting me with a few times...

I greatly enjoyed the event. Even though I only got to play 1 set, it was invigorating. I was down 8-2 and was able to come back to end the set 10-7 and I was completely hyped. Of course, this happens every time I play Solidshark. He's forced me to completely reevaluate my team and gotten me hyped for 2002/UM again.

I'm not even gonna front, man... I need to  ;c ;d more on block when the timing is right, as I barely do that... I feel more evasive, but I need to control my momentum when it comes to advancing and turtling...

With Billy, I began to notice that my opponents would watch my moves, and inch in close enough to start rushing down or counter accordingly... Standing ;c in og2k2 doesn't seem as strong as it does in um, plus a few other moves seem gimped or strong in some areas...

I ended up taking an interest (again) in Ralf and Athena (I used her in CvS2), especially since this isn't um or 98 and I my usual team is impossible to form... Plus for some reason my execution with Iori is mad shotty now, so I need a rep for him... I do find it hard to get in close with Ralf, so my throwing ability gets eliminated quite often... I did pick up a few tricks practicing with him, but if the opponent techs, I can't use them as much... Any tips with these 2 would be great and much appreciated...

Desmond, I can't stop saying how dope that Chris was... I've played quite a few in both og and um, but fighting your Chris was somewhat different, especially with those mixups... That Kim was dope, too... You punish really well with him, and I noticed how quickly you were able to change the tide with him by capitalizing on a situation, or knowing what to combo with regardless of the situation...

I noticed some strong Ryo action in there-- I think that one goes to Solidshark...

Expect a team revamp, but more than likely Billy's a mainstay, same for Joe, but he might get swapped from time to time... Athena-- hmm not sure yet... Might stick with Ralf for awhile... Btw, what's the matchups looking like for Ralf and Athena anyway???

I had fun with every match I played. Wanted to dominate against everyone, but learned loads from those who beat me, especially Jinx and Feez. All of my matches may have me thinking of strategy and/or character changes the next go-round.

Thanks again to Desmond for holding the first - awesome job hosting and keeping track.
