damn that sucks, i was also only thinking of the refference vids by snkp. now that you mention the mook i see it.

also as i suspected, joe seems mad fun to use (along with ralph). its good to see people actually using them and doing good with them.

For maximum effect, hit the 1911 filter on the player! It's the best!

There's definitely potential for the Texas scene to grow from what I can see from the videos, so that's super exciting.

Damn, didn't know Iori's neomax was zero frame like Robert's.

It's actually not 0 frame, more like 3 or so. I've used it many times while the opponent is in the air descending before and they were able to land and block it.

that actually sucks. i still remember that nm's where exdm speed during the loketests. they changed most of them, they probably still have the same priority as exdm's (at least i pressume some do?), but not the speed (cvs2 level 3 super style speed and priority). i think it wasnt even needed to downgrade them that much, especially considering ex dm's do almost as much damage (maybe a 100 less), cost 1 stock less and dont use dc bar at all instead of all the hd bar. for all that extra meter/s the nm'sshould have exdm speed and priority imo. not a huge deal ofcourse, but for all that meter a little more security would have been nice.
In the end, there can only be XIII.

If you guys really want to watch those Beijing vids then you may want to try different times of day, I kept trying and it was moving at a snails pace but eventually hit a time were they were loading almost as fast as youtube vids.

The guy does it twice on an airborne Mature in the last vid and both times she seems to be frozen in the air on activation and continues to be frozen in the same spot and frame when he starts the slash and move his arm. No, its fine. Iori's makes for one heck of an anti-air and counter move so it will definitely come in useful when in a pinch.

I'm glad the neomaxes aren't overpowered while still retaining the "oh shit!" factor.

but diavle, you do understand that exdm's are overpowered and use 1 super bar less and 2 full dc bars less to do while only doing 100 damage less. so as a punishment move using something like exdm will always be better, even if nm did have exdm properties, cause youd be losing another bar and full hd bar with it. it wouldnt be overpowered imo, far from it.
In the end, there can only be XIII.

Yes, I'm sure that there is a few frames after the neomax before it hits. It might have a difference depending on distance though. I've activated it while the opponent is in the air, and they are able to land and block it. It might hit quicker if they are closer though.

As for EX DM, it's an awesome anti-air or great for catching people during an attack even at 3/4ths screen range. If I had a choice of which one to use (neomax or ex-DM) I would use EX DM, unless it's their last character. Sacrificing about 10% damage for another opportunity to do a non super HD combo is well worth it.
