@Zeech.

A very insightful first post and just a well written post in general.  A closed beta would be an excellent idea and if the terrible burden has to fall among me, I guess I just have to take it for the team ;)

Don't forget to introduce yourself here when you get a chance.

MUSOLINI

i wouldn't mind giving feedback for EU if a beta is possible.
In the end, there can only be XIII.

Will the console version support more than 2 filters?

I would like to see SNKP try using different filters for the sprites, maybe something like the one been used on SF3 Online Edition. Having at least 4 types of different filters (not only modifications of the same) would be really cool.

sibarraz

Will be cool to see scanlines, those always help to sprites

game is really great, cant wait to be able to play it online whe it gets released. besides all those extra features and what not snkp might be planning, netcode is the only thing that can save this game now. it needs this real bad.

There actually already is a KOF13 OST. Besides, the music in KOF's is generally based around characters/teams rather than stages. Atlus is known for throwing in bonuses/special editions anyway, so hopefully we see a soundtrack inclusion like they did with Persona 4.

There is one question I wanted to ask:

Will the game's localization be changed to fit your standards?

DarKaoZ

Can we expect to see both Bar Leveling and Ping of the opponent netcode?

We need the Bars for people who don't know about Ping and Ping for us who really know how it works. I wounder if SNKP will plan to implement both of them in the Lobbies.

mistcore

Will the US 360 version be region free/playable on a JP 360 console?

Ash Riot

Can you make the button configuration accessible through the character select screen?  Can you also make it so that all you have to do is push the desired button through a list of actions, rather than scrolling through the actions (ala BlazBlue button config)?  There's players out there with really crazy button configurations, so this process would save a lot of time during tournaments.

Man, the more days pass the more question pop-up in my head. lol

Will there be an option to move the Health/Power bars position? I really dislike the fact that the Power bars tend to cover the characters feet.

Here is another, how will the game look in SDTVs? Will it have black bars on the bottom and top?

ZMan

will there be a retry option after the game is over in vs mode?

on that note, will there be an option to re-select your character order after the game is over?

One last question for Atlus
I was thinking to preorder....
Are you willing to guarantee that the online will be at least SSf4 or BBCT standard with a "we are gonna buy the games back from you at a double price if the netcode sucks" program?  :)

Atlus can't guarantee anything, that should be SNKP. What Atlus can do is to check the netcode here in the US and tell SNKP that the netcode they are using works or not.

But unfortunately testing the netcode when no more than 100 people are testing it, will not mean the netcode is actually good. I remember Ignition and SNKP tested the code aednd they said it work great, the could have been lying or saying the truth. But if they were saying the truth, then the netcode went wrong ones everybody started logging in to play online. Which I bet it's more than the possible 100 testers Ignition and SNKP had, and 100 is a exaggerated number IMO.

Hopefully Atlus and SNKP do consider the beta testing, a month or 2 of testing will greatly help the netcode and they should have the first fighter to beta test the netcode in consoles. Although I wonder how long SNKP has been developing the netcode?
