Atlus is currently working on including "more than a half-dozen modes," including Versus mode, Arcade mode, and an in-depth Story mode told with cinematic scenes featuring static high-resolution 2D artwork, along with art galleries and other modes that the publisher isn't yet ready to reveal.

Hmm... interesting that they mention a Story mode. Hopefully they didn't confuse it with Arcade mode which already has bubbles with text.

Y'know, even if the netcode sucks, people can still take the game to ranbats. MvC3 and MK9 both have pretty terrible netcode, but they still have big scenes due to offline tournament play. The main problem is that people don't have access to the game yet. The game itself is good, and that's what's important. I believe they already said it was going to be arcade perfect, so I'm not worried at this point.

Who knows? It might not be like later XII days at all. It's not quite set in stone yet and we still have the Atlus questions thread. Perhaps they can still do something about it.

If that is really true (about the netcode) this game is officially fucked.I decided to preorder but right now this news is really pissing me off.I will wait for some reviews about the online and if shit happens i will buy it used for like 20 bucks.Hope Atlus is taking notes.


PS: I am willing to make a comparison video with someone based in europe with a PS3 that still has his copy of XII and a copy of SSF4 or hell even MVC 3.XII netcode is ass - FACT
