It has something to do with Saiki's normal form being confirmed as a playable character.

If Billy and Saiki are in the EVO build, I hope Yuuichi Nakamura provides the voice for either one, but I can't wait to see what Saiki plays like.

Seeing from the animated movies in the trailer, would any of you say that SNKP did them themselves, or a major Anime Production company?

At a forum I hear someone is saying Atlus is Debuting Console Release of King of Fighters XIII at Otakon meaning its next friday. So I'm wondering if there will be reveals for more characters. Not sure if you guys know about this.

Yes, KoF XIII will be at Otakon next week.

Yes, it was on PlayAsia for a year prior to the announcement by Atlus.

Seeing from the Comic Con trailer, it looks like Raven will be in it to because of a Silhouette behind Yoshimitsu in his part of it.

On a side note, me and a friend had a humorous conversation about the CGI Trailer with Guy, Hugo, and Cody. With me commenting on how much of a bad idea it is putting Poison in it, and him commenting that he thinks that Marduk doesn't notice that Poison is a guy in disguise as a girl. XD

Japanese version of the Comic Com and Episode 2 trailers are up now. It sounds like Masae Yumi (who voices Leona, Kasumi, and Vice), or probably Eri Kitamura, is providing the voice of Poison in Japanese. I don't know, but Poison sounds like Vice more than it does Juri to me..

The english voices are incredibly bad, ryo sounds like an idiot, and Kyo really feels like a pussy, leona sounds like a man, and I can go and go

I had no problem with english voices, SF IV did an okay job, BB, not so much IMO, if somehow catherine VA could work in this game, they will had a good cast to make the voices

On what you said about Kyo, Leona, and Ryo's English Voices, that is exactly my view of the voice acting in KOF XII.

And Catherine uses PCB Productions for its English Dub, so if Atlus provides SNK with the assistance in the English voice acting for KOF XIII, there won't be a problem. SFIV, BB, and Catherine all use high-profile Anime voice actors.

Take Laura Bailey (Who I wanted to see play Mai anyway) for example, she was Chun-Li in SFIV, Platinum in BB:CS, and Catherine in Catherine (Obviously). Her "Tohru Honda" voice, or her "Chun-Li" voice can be fitting enough for Mai anyway.

You can say that I am a supporter of Dual Language voice tracks.

I kinda wish they kept the KOF XII voices.

WHAT DA HECK HAPPENED TO JOO?!  Robert's voiceactor is at his best in this game.

To be honest, I never had liked the English Voices in KOF XII.

And like most of you guys said, it wasn't needed before, but it is needed this time because like how DarKaoZ mentioned, this is the first time SNK is doing a Story Mode for a canonical KOF game. Besides, I can't even understand what Saiki and Evil Ash are saying if the game were to have Japanese voices only, and there are going to be no subtitles during matches, so I find subs to be useless for the in-game experience.

Anyway, observation time!

My newest observation is that since Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, Cassandra Morris, Tony Oliver, Patrick Seitz, and Stephanie Sheh (Just to name a few) are guests at Otakon this year, I think this might hint at something related to the game or not... (Hints that the game might get a new English Dub after all? or, are they there just for fun?; I suggested them for Kyo, Athena, Kula, Takuma, Ralf, and Rose, respectively)

My new observation is just a theory/guess, so this is nothing official or whatever.

You guys really need to stop bashing within the community. Dream Cancel is starting to look like 4chan. Looking from the outside in, I don't see how anyone would feel comfortable entering the community knowing the etiquette (or lack thereof) you guys are displaying. More and more I'm realizing that a lot of posts in the past few days/weeks have been rather nonconstructive or uninformative.

Sibarraz's post was more focused on the status of XII stages and whether or not they'd be in XIII. Focus on that rather than make this a another "Let's Hate on XII" thread.

I guess you're right. I think I would stay on topic rather than bash people for making decisions..

And Sibarraz, I agree, what would XIII be like without XII's original versions of the stages?

wasn't rising star the company the release one of the guilty gear games in the uk? or am i think about somebody else

Rising Star released Samurai Spirits Sen (or Idon'tknowwhat of destiny) on 2010. But just in France and not sure if in any other european country, in Spain never arrived, it was by download. So I'm expecting KOF XIII for download in countries like mine... I don't care, I will simply import it if that the case and/or arrives late than japan/usa versions.

Samurai Spirits Sen was once known as Edge of Destiny in America, and if I recall correctly, Rising Star Games also releases games in England and the United Kingdom.

Oh, and on a side note of KOF XIII, I got my copy preordered from GameStop. And about Otakon, what I should suggest is an Online Q&A session for us to ask Atlus staff our questions related to the game.

ooh, what Gundams are they? I hope that one of them is the original Gundam (The RX-78-2).

And if I were to get that Mai figurine, should I sell it or keep it for a collection?

According to the listing, it will be localized by Rising Star Games for an October 15, 2011 release.

Or I just concentrate building scene here in Finland. Kinda surprised that here are actually people who like the series and are intrested about XIII.

This is the best thing you can do. I will try to do the same in Spain when I get console version (not sure if it will be possible though..)

Side note, I would prefer as tournament prize a better Mai in console version than that sluty figurine of her.

Is there anything wrong with Mai in the game?

And I agree with you, that figurine is slutty..
