Hey Qpunch here, I believe Mightfo might remember me (I've only gone to like 2 Dallas meetups, Denton has more melty players.)

I really need help getting into this game. I mainly can't combo off of short hop hits for whatever reason and that seems to be a big part of leona's air game.

Any tips?

Comboing from hop-ins is just plain tough in kof. You really got to land your hit as close to the ground as possible for it to combo. It really just comes down to lots of practice. Sorry I don't have a better answer, but it's just one of those things that there's no quick and easy way to get it down.

I see, I guess i'll just keep practicing. But it's no problem anymore since comboing into v-slasher with Leona is easy now.

Shoutouts to Bar Fights and everyone who joined, it was great and I was disappointed about my performance there. I have no clue what blackjack goes by in Soul Calibur V lol. I tried to search for his name so I wonder how he done in SC. I feel bad about Metal not able to enter KOF. Maybe next time we should ask who are we going to face

I actually went by my government name at the tournament so that's the one and only chance of knowing my real name. 1-2 was my record at the tournament. I was kind of upset at how the last game ended since during the first two rounds, my HitBox decided to randomly disconnect on me causing me to forfeit those rounds on my own accord. Besides that, I had a fun experience overall considering that was my first tournament.

What is barfights? I saw people talking about this on all fighting game websites.

It's a tournament that is held at a bar in plano every couple of months. They have KOF, SSF4, UMvC3, SCV, BB, MK, and SF3S there.

Shoutouts to SFxT for actually being a good capcom game. I think i'm gonna run hugo/asuka mainly but I still need to test out hwoarang and others a bit more. Neutral is awkward in some situations.

had bb, sfxt, kof, sc5, mb, and some marvel. good shit

too tired to do long shoutouts. but thanks to everyone who brought setups(darkgeese, cookie, whoever brought the other melty setup, blackjack) and shoutouts to keyblaz and eric for the bb matches
