Definitely enjoying RE: Revelations right now. It's very atmospheric and the whole "Titanic meets zombies" vibe works well with the claustrophic environments it uses. I also like that they have something other than the usual zombies and the superb graphics.
My only beef is that the story so far is kinda dumb. Basically, they made some kind of Atlantis type of city, powered exclusively by solar-power. Apparently, this blantant socialist usage of green energy causes a bio-terrorist group to attack it using zombie terrorism, since, according to Bioterrorism Monthly, it's all the rage with Liberation groups. Why they couldn't just use nukes, anthrax or C4 is beyond me though. So apparently to stop the zombies, they use their own solar power and harness it by powering a satellite strike, destroying the city itself.
Fast forward a few years later, the Racoon City Survivors Task Force (aka BSAA) is called on because of odd events occuring. Jill and her new hispanic friend soon find out that Chris Redfield and Jessica (?) have been MIA and were found in an abandoned ship. There they find some terrorists that have to "trick" them into finding out the "truth".
So yeah, it's REALLY cliched and sounds like a bad anime so far, at least it actually does play like a deserving successor to 4. But man, this series needs a reboot badly.
