SRK(or at least its members) talking Ish about KOF's netcode, but half of them have never even been on this site or have seen or experienced what we have with this game. I always wonder why people trust SRK over this site for KOF stuff or Dustloop for Atlus games. I just don't get SRKs members.
Meanwhile dreamcancel will probably mainly get people interested in the game that want to discuss it and so all is fine. Adding to that, there will probably be a fair deal of people who migrate here post release as they get into the game.

there are actually a lot of people who have registered this week ( i check who's online some times and i see 1-3 people registering) so i'm guessing there already are people coming over.

Whenever I enter srk their main page lags and freezes my browser for over 1 minute before unfreezing and letting me click on anything. What's up with that.

that's pretty weird

it's kind of funny since you can't even use the code till he is available.

probably going off topic but in the console version will there be a macro feature in the practice modes like in 2k2um to test things out? In 2k2um that really helped out and made it easier to test invincibility frames at least.

Also how much are the DLC chars. . . I hope it ain't 400ms each or something.

How? I can't find the option

About netcode, at 3 bars there is some delay, but I play with people that I always had horrible lag in SSF IV, so comparing it with SSF IV, I hink that both are in the same level, maybe XIII a bit better

In training mode, config your buttons. Scroll thru the selection till you get a record and playback sign.

Macro as in recording the moves of the characters? There is a recording function.

he means the function around 1 minute of this video where you can have a frame-by-frame explanation of what to do for certain combos moves ect.

Oh this function, remember using it in '98 UM. Nope, its not there, how I wish its there too so I can't breeze thru some of the trial mode.

Oh I see. Thx for the fast replies.

As darktowns link shows, 2k2um macro feature allowed you to edit the number of frames or make a macro manually from editing data.

So I guess we can confirm it just has a basic recording and playback feature with no edit option adjustment of the frames? Or is that not there either? Sorry just want to confirm thx.

Just played KOF XIII with a friend and no lag at all. Best netcode so far.

THAT is awesome :)

Just out of curiosity, do you mean best console FG netcode you have touched or best of SNKP?

You get EX Iori, his stage, two music tracks and his trials for $5, not bad imo.

This doesn't mean much but I played online. I was rolling with two 1 bar connections.  I have fios and play one guy from California (Md to Ca). Idk his connection... (shoutouts to Bat-Swimsuit) i don't have much to say about the matches since I didn't care too much. It was nice to see yagmi's stage though.

^ So they were laggy? If so, how bad with 1 bar?

1 bar is terrible.
Random freezes.
Massive input delay, although, I was able to do specials and dm.
All in all, it felt no different from any of the other games' online when playing 1 bar connection.
