What's a weaboo?

I was impressed seeing ultra david there. Not that i saw him doing anything really, the only match i saw with him was against mr.kof, but it's cool that he entered even though (i assume) he knew he had no chance. Would probably be cool to just see how it goes.
(taken from urban dictonary) A non japanese person who basically denounces their own culture and calls themselves japanese. They try to learn japanese through the anime they watch and usually end up pronouncing it wrong and looking like a complete idiot.

they also prefer 2d women

MLG usually upload them to youtube, that's what happened the last time.

They just make sure that no one aside from them does it.

Nico has some Tokido footage from MLG uploaded. Here's one that was posted on MMCafe.

that is the best match from the tournament..

The Chriskof and Tokido is also just as good..

when BALA played Tokido I thought he would pick Billy, as Xiao Hai defeated Tokido using Billy..

There's the chance that Tokido went back and studied up on the character.

He still counter picked Tokido with Yuri though, Romance's match clearly showed that Tokido had no idea what to do against her.

i hope EVO top3 is not going to be the top3 from MLG, I hope a unknown player makes it to the grand final..

but I think I can definitely see a BALA vs Reynalds at EVO grand finals, them 2 are probably the best in the world at the moment..

Bala for sure, Reynald and Mr. Kof not so much. The problem I see with these guys is that they tend to have no confidence in their characters/teams and often look quite lost at the character screen, trying to counter pick or whatever. Noticed this since some of the first tournaments and it rings true still.

This is in contrast to say someone like Xiaohai who sticks to his guns and tries to learn his opponent instead. At the start Billy was his weakest character against Tokido at Shadowloo Showdown but by the end it was a completely different story, the last match was a Billy OCV.

The international showing will be strong at Evo so I expect big things, especially from players like Kaoru of Japan.

I think that some japanese top players from japan will go there, same with taiwan. Some of the chilean crew is going too, if some were impressed with kaneblueriver, yu had yet to see a pair of top players from here.

I can't talk for other countries since I don't know them that much, but I could see more unknown players

That being said, bala has the advantage that he has the most tournament experience than anyone

Waifu Material

KLSADAKO

I think the 2/3 format could produce some shocks, becos a unknown player could easily win the 1st game, and then could edge the 2nd..

In europe the ticket is paid for the champion of the incoming tournament (This one will worth the seeing by itself imo, just for the huge amount of salt).
And I think Kenpachi, Pharaon (Not the best but just a bit below) have already decided to go to EVO.

A Taiwanese kof13 player will go to EVO.He is very strong.
2 HK kof13 players wanted to attend EVO and asked some questions about it on KOFunion. But I don't know their decision.

Can someone please help a brother out and link to those MLG matches? I completely missed Romance vs Tokido and Tokido vs Bala. I don't want to wait a month for MLG to upload the matches.
