Bala really didn't do anything wrong honestly. He played his game and did everything he usually does. And he stuck with his money characters (Takuma and Shen). It really came down to MAD_KOF playing out of his mind. The dominate Bala we know was right there every bit as good as always! It's just MAD_KOF was playing at level 100 when Bala was playing at level 98. It was just a matter of someone having to lose.

What I want is to see Reynald and Romance play at that level. I know those guys are right there.

What I'm also surprised is that decent solid players like Justin Wong, Ryan Hart and ChrisG  lost both games in their pools.. I thought all 3 would make it out of their pools as winners.. unless they only went to Evo to really try hard at AE and Marvel?

I don't know much about Ryan Heart, but you can count Justin Wong out in this game. I was wondering where Combofiend was. He's actually good. I was expecting top 32 for him.

That was amazing. At least Bala went out like a champ. He pulled out every thing he had and went completely back in forth with Mad KOF. That was some hero vs final boss type shit. That was Domon vs Master! Heero vs Zechs! Goku vs Frieza! Aang vs The Fire Lord! Soooooooooo hype! That match was just pure epic man. Simply Beautiful.

I'll look into some online play. I wish more people here were free 24/7 besides Keith. Practicing against the CPU only just isn't cutting it.

Do you guys feel that Claw can work well as a battery? Right now I'm using EX Iori, but I honestly like Claw a lot better. It's just that I want Iori and those normals as a battery.

Sharnt, those were some godlike matches man!!! Keep the vids coming. That Takuma player was so solid. You got dudes taunting after supers and shit I love it!

I still think Benimaru is the best character in the game. Just for the fact that not only does he have insane priority on his normals, he's also very hard to approach. Sometimes it feels impossible to gain any grown against that character. He controls space better than any character in the game, and that puts him at the top IMO.

Speaking of picking up cheap characters, I'm picking up Yuri. This character is insanely cheap. I just need to figure out how to play with her.

I'll try to head on down there sometime in the near future. I only own a 360 stick at the moment, so I'd have to borrow a stick if y'all play on PS3.

I've never played it 2002 or even seen video of it, but it's probably the same damn thing. If I ever see it being ran at an event I'm at, I'll enter it.
