Dunno if some people just haven't voted, but its curious to see how things turned out. KoF 98 and 02 of course are even, but RB2 is only one vote behind and Garou is one vote behind that. I believe based on this, (unless more people wanna vote and change the tide of things?) that these are the games that should get the most focus around here for playing. Maybe someone agrees/disagrees? But I will say we have a severe lack of anything Garou-related going on as well as RB2 noooot quite going how I like but I hope to change things soon. But even still, playing NGBC, Last Blade II, AoF3, and KoF XII is always fun with everyone.

We should get some more KoF XII going soon. Its a fun game, and I enjoy playing it a bit more than 98 or 02.

I disagree. I'd never put Joe anywhere higher than mid tier.

- His comboable normals generally have terrible range. #1 worst range in the game. This is a problem considering most of his specials are designed for long-range play. Granted, the light SLash Kick is great at closing distance if spaced properly, but it will still place him outside effective combo range.
- He cannot combo into his sweep.
- He has no effective overhead. Because a good player knows that he cannot land a low hit as the third hit in his combo string, they can always block the third hit high, easily stopping his chain overhead.
- TNT punches are decent as a breakshot and for heavy damage combos, but the overhead followup is pointless since there is no low alternative. He really need the low followup from KOF series.
- Great when he has a life lead, very bad when he needs to go on the offence.

On the good side, he has probably the game's best long and medium range zoning tools, on par or better than Chon-Rei, Andy, and Yamazaki's. The addition of a standard low kick, low kick, sweep combo would have helped his offence tremendously.

I can kind of agree. Trying to play as Joe in this game, I felt he was...lacking. I dunno, something felt off. I've played as Joe in just about every game he's ever been in, and something feels off about him in this one. I guess you summed up what I was feeling (though I didn't realize all of that)

I might do a remade version of this writeup sometime, but for now, here's a link to my Krauser guide on www.shoryuken.com.

If you need help remaking it, I can contribute a bit if you wanna add pictures to it.

Thanks for your inputs, God 2.0. Its great to have you here, and I'll deffinantly keep all you guys' tips on Terry in mind. I'll add in what I can once I come back to this, trying to just get the general move lists up first before I delve deeper but a lot of you probably know much more than I do.

theres some mistakes in the first post steam.

sadomazo is other way around.

you can combo them back out of the bg from his  ;fd ;a;c combo or  ;b;c, combo if you cancel it into snake fist and cancel that with  ;d and  ;d again to hit them back from it.

also his  ;fd ;a can be cancelled before coming out, like canceling it into his ppower or bakudan pachiki.

his ppower should always be the level 4, unless you can always perform level 5 do it when your not in a corner. when you are in the corner level can be pursuit after to do more damage than level 5 since you cant pursuit after it.

;a ;b evades high attacks only, this goes for everybody.

iirc snake fist breakshot can be used to counter moves that normally would leave your opponent unpunishable, by canceling the snake fist into his bakudan pachiki or ppower.

far  ;c is actually a great and damaging poke that goes as far as bash's and krausers  ;c, its terrible for short characters, same for his  ;dn ;db ;bk ;b, .

thats all for now.

Okay so Sadomazo's inputs are backwards?

Also, his SDM...is there a trick to doing level 4 and 5? Level 4 is hard enough to do as is.

And is there any further mistakes? Point out what I did wrong please

You know I wouldn't mind lending some tips and knowledge to some of these threads. Even though I main Duck, Geese, and Krauser, I can play as anyone and know at least basic strategies for everyone.

Anything you wish to contribute to any of the threads, feel free to do so!

Some tips would be great, to be honest the reason I didn't really stay with this game is because of lack of direction, well that and I didn't want to fall asleep reading long-winded guides on GameFaqs.

Understandable. But any questions you have, feel free to ask. I think I covered most of the basics all ready if you look in the Information thread. If its character specific, I do apologize about the lack of character threads and wiki stuff but there's plenty of people here more than willing to answer any questions like Musolini and Tom, and I'll answer anything I can. Gamefaqs sometimes doesn't even cover the correct things, and is only a general move list most of the time. I'm hoping to make it easier and compile every bit of info out there for RB2 onto this place.

Hey welcome to DC! Also, you should come try RB2 with us sometime as its very deep and a very good game. If you're used to SSFIV, you may feel more at home there and might help your transition into KoF better.

I agree completely, its too bad some don't see it that way. Btw Musolini, working on the Yamazaki thread now and thanks for your info up on SRK. I'll of course give credit to you and all. And btw, I hope you re-watched the video of the match cause that first video I posted was the wrong thing, something else entirely lol
