theres way more bad aspects than there are good aspects in 96 when it comes to gameplay. i dont think anybody that has played kof since it started likes 96 because it fails from the core, the gameplay. theres still people playing 95 and even 97,theres a reason people dont touch the shitpile called 96. its actually a shame if you look at how good the fucking game looks and sounds, damn shame snk didnt have the time to make 96 like 97, a damn shame indeed.

Yes, the game had balance problem, but if was a new mechanics...

you can't compare 96 to 97 or 98 they are better games, 97 is probably the finis version of 96, 98 is a better 97... and that's why people play 98 over 96, because is better version... not because they don't like 96.

Why play 96 if they can play 98 or even better 98UM.

95 is better 94, and that's why people play 95.

Is the ever make and HD re-master of the KOF games they will probably make 95, 98UM, 2k1, 2k2UM, and KOFxi... because they are the best of every Saga. ( not story base, just game play )

96 along with 94 are the worst kofs ever, might as well use that money on some quality shit. these games are sf2movie level bad. people could still enjoy it, doesn't mean it's not crap.

well i talked to a friend of mine who worked at gamestop and he said the release for KoF was late november instead of october

KOF 96's netplay will tell a lot if SNKp has improved on that area

Honestly, 94, 95 and SamSho have netcode that I classify as really good. They're definitely better than any SNKP game on 360 (which isn't saying much) and better than BB or any SF game.

Since my answer is in the minority, It looks like its' delayed til November (I don't have a freind working there either :P). Its weird though, the games looks done. What are they add or fix in three weeks? They had a year.

I don't think the netplay in the PSN games and the netplay in KOFXIII are going to be related at all.  They outsourced the PSN games.

and here i was thinking you had had no jokes anyway so far ive found bb to be the best netcode out for the moment never even had a hic-up in any of the matches ive played the netcode for the neo geo station games are good but i dont think or anyone else can top blazblue for the moment of course this is just my opinion

I hear that Japan and the EU haven't changed their release dates, is this true? If so, then why? why is it changed only here in the states? has atlus provided any official statement? should someone contact them?

I'm ok with it ultimately. But I really wish they gave better delay reasons, and some kinda "we'll make it up to you!" offer. Even if something like... a Gamer pic pack download, IoriWTHPFs, the announcement of Avatar costumes, or a Suprise Online-capable Demo Release on the original Release Date! (-_-; )

Oh, and on the PSN netcode... I really wonder. No PS3, so can't have an opinion, but if it's better than NGBC, must be some classy stuff. This stuff all seems to be HIGHLY opinionated, though, and really seems to change per person.
