Buriki One (武力 ONE, Buriki One: World Grapple Tournament '99 in Tokyo) is a 3D arcade versus fighting game. It is an offshoot of the Art of Fighting series of video games created by SNK. In the brief time-frame of the Hyper Neo-Geo 64's popularity, it was characterized for its superb graphics that processed at a smooth 60 frames per second and a unique fighting system. To call it different from the traditional fighting game is an understatement. The game was made with the lever and arcade buttons swapping sides in mind, so players instead move and block with buttons and attack with the lever. In addition to this, it is a much slower paced game where each attack has specific use cases and are much more deliberate than a typical fighting game attack. It's also characterized by its MMA-styled fighting and atmospheric cheering of the crowd, with players aiming to either knock out the opponent's life bar or score more points at the end of the match.

Due to the flop of the Hyper NeoGeo 64 and scarcity of the game in the West, Buriki One is a very rare game and, to make matters worse, for years has been unplayable through emulation. Japan continues to foster a dedicated community that plays the game regularly, and in KOFXI, both Gai Tendo and Silber have appeared as hidden playable characters made sub-bosses. Recently, however, Hyper NeoGeo 64 emulation has been improving dramatically and has thus allowed for people all over the world to finally play the game through the MAME emulator.
